Beach Spider, click on your screen name to go to your Profile page, then click on the My Profile tab. That's where you can change your avatar.

I've already tried to enter its' url in the box but the box doesn't accept it as it should.

Browse won't work because I can't seem to create a folder for it.

(I need to know how to create an image folder)

Can't you just copy and right click save pic as, so the pic will show up when you browse?

Forgive me if I'm missing something here, but I had trouble changing my avatar way back when and AcheNot walked me through it.

Don't forget to scan down and hit update profile after the pic shows up, hth.

PS: I change my avatar frequently, I think it's fun!

FYI: I'm experimenting with different avatars to see what happens.

This is my 'Vince Citizen' avatar for social forums. (Facebook, etc..)

I retrieved it from one of my document folders.  (in browse mode)

I can't figure out how to put 'Beach Spider' into a folder ...

Beach, just put it on your desktop. No need to put it in a folder.

Try Chrome, ignore request for url, click on choose file, that should take you to the browse mode?

Yes, a Chrome browser, some people have had better luck with that than IE.
Just a thought...

I don't know about Ipads though, it seems like Ipad users have more problems here.

Double check the picture you have loaded after you hit insert, occasionally a different pic from the one you have chosen will appear, this only happened to me once or twice but I caught it before posting.

Spider, are you using a desktop or a tablet?
