Oh, and you might want to add why, when you say your name is "Anthony", all the old timers start repeating your name in an odd mocking way, like they are yelling out a window in the North End

Guys, it is an old commercial, we really "ahn't ree-tah-ded"

I think Patrice Bergeron is a bigger name than Linda Pizzutti Henry or Hair-in-her-face Maria Stephanos?  How could you not list him?

    Where is Bobby Orr?

    Carl Yastrzemski?

    Charles Laquidara?

    Curt Schilling?

    Major Mudd?

    Rex Trailer?

Bobby Orr and Yaz *are* there. The rest, I don't know. such a waste of time going through the rest of the list I didn't want to voluntarily kill the brain cells I have left by finishing it. Along with Bill Brett's Party pictures, (I'm so glad I saw the three women who were at the World Trade Center a few days ago) and the recycled what's your favorite pizza donut italian blah blah place, this kind of air-headed space filling beings me ever closer to abandoning boston.com.

I clicked through to about #8 and have to ask, what WOMAN, not, compiled this list!  It's 2013 and even trivial info is so biased it is down right pathetic.

Instead of asking who you missed that needs to be added, you should be asking who was included that needs to be removed.

Bianca de la Garza? Maria Stephanos? Kim Kazei?

These are Boston's "big names"? Really? What a hick town we live in. And what a bogus list

Funny though that Linda Pizzuti, who is famous for one reason: she landed a billionaire, gets her own separate page. Meanwhile her husband, John Henry, has to share his page with Lucchino and Werner

Root-y toot toot-y for Linda Pizzuti!

Yeah, if you're going to bring up Bianca, why not Randy?

I, too, am baffled as to why boston.com chose those three tv news anchors. There's absolutely no reason to *have* to know any tv anchor, least of all these three airheads. Well, at least Kim Kazie seems to have a brain.

Boston.com LOVES their slide shows as they drive the "page views" count up, up up!

Seriously, the first 25 of the 75 you mentioned are all highly compensated professional sports related individuals who rarely, if ever, mix and mingle with any of the locals.  There's no need to remember any of them, Boston.com will report on their comings and goings on a daily basis.

And local news anchors?!?  Here's some advice, dont take any time to remember who they are, they are all interchangeable and you'll most likely get 99% of your actual news from the web anyway.

Re: Boston's big names: Who did we miss?

74 names and no mention of Patrice Bergeron?  Creating a new legend this past spring while playing Hockey, already the toughest sport, with a punctured lung, cracked rib and assorted orther ailments, this Guy displayed heart otherwise unheard of in today's sports world.  We should be aware of Jacoby Ellsbury who can't wait to leave us?  Oh all those Chef's that most working people will never know?  How about the news anchors that are either not from here, or will leave at the first network call?  No. Folks should make sure they are aware that a young man originally from Canada, that now calls Boston his home, was literally willing to risk his life in order to pull on a Boston sweater when his team and his City needed him should be revered going forward.  Yes it's just sports, but sports are one of the few things that brings this area together and we should continually recognize Bergeron as the Champion, Bruin and Honorary Bostonian he is.
