The book that will be written about this candidacy will likely be a strange one, whether it is biographical or autobiographical. (The same may turn out to be the case with the "party" and movement with which the candidate is associated.) To date, there continues to be much fealty to the "11th Commandment" in regard to this candidacy (think Mr. Rollins). But when the stakes move on, the detritus left in the rhumb line will be full of crawly things trying to eat each other, as the fish continues to rot from the head. Even as this high mark was reached in Iowa, the beginning of the end was foretold as the unfortunate purchase of 6,000 tickets yielded only some 4,800 votes. Fealty, like the tide, had its limits. This in the most artificially constructed "race" possible. (The same one in which an appeal for a breakout of the total "votes" for Parry vs. those for Perry was rejected by the managers of the affair.) Watch.
