    Nailing Jello to a tree.

Is it me? For the life of me I couldn't answer if asked, "Where does the Governor stand on fixing the budget crisis?"  Even when I think he is for or against something, raising a tax or cutting an expense or securing a new revenue source, the next time he speaks it's modified, and not quite what he meant.  All I know is he feels the state is broke and the needed cuts are going to hurt...whatever that means.  I thought he was supposed to lead, not play chicken little.

I thought this post was going to have something to do with John Kerry asking for Senate Hearings on saving the Boston Globe!!!!!!

Nah; the Globe will cover that in print. You NEED to buy ink by the barrel to cover anything John Kerry talks about.

I remember during the gubenatorial campaign, critics would scoof, "Yes, we can...WHAT?  Who knew just how valid their criticism was!

Here we go again.  Deval "cannot support and will veto" a sales tax increase.  Until the next day when it was"...until pension, transportation, and ethics reforms" are made.  Reforms such as? But then what? Support increase to 6.25? Increase to something else? That plus 19 cents gas tax? Less than that? The beat goes on.

No, because he is increasing their tax bases and saving Connecticut many BILLIONS by not infringing on their casinos.
