I changed my mind; I didn't vote.

    I changed my mind; I didn't vote.

Fresh from his stunning election win in Massachusetts Senator   Big ups to Scottie for winning big ( 5 points ) last night.
If he does his job; he'll make a name for himself; if he allows himself to be taken in by the very place everyone goes to eventually get corrupted; he'll be no different than the rest.

I changed my mind and didn't vote.  None of these people have a clue on how to deliver any real substance to people.  All they know how to do is talk about it.

When's the last time a politician ever did anyting directly for me?
I believed in the B.S. that people say regarding civic duty and all the rest.

Not anymore.    Now I'm a cynic.  Until a politician literally hands me some cash for my vote.    I'm not setting one foot in a polling place again.

    Thanks for reading this message.

I make up roughly half the population in this country.

    People who don't vote.

Why do you suppose so many people crow and moan about getting everyone in the country (who's eligible) to vote?

Let the people do what they want.   Yeah sure; you might get a total between both sides that only make up less than half that actually participate in elections but hey; a few is better than no one at all right?

Choosing not to exercise your voice in the process says nothing at all about the process and everything about you.

    Riddle me this.

Which is more productive?  Voting for a politician that ( over time ) evolves into a lying; cheating corrupted public servant.

    Or not voting.

Not voting for the incumbent; the challenger or additional candidates in the same race.

Idiots like you can only tell yourself you're doing something productive.

It's interesting that you want to take the time to tell someone they don't matter.

I've always operated under one specific rule; people who don't matter aren't worth the response.

I appreciate you taking the time.   That really says something.

What exactly; I'll leave that up to you. Laughing

The process is designed to give you a voice.

If you choose not to speak, that is not an indictment of the process.

    XTTOO,

You have a vote and decide not to use it? That seems odd to me that someone would not vote for or against a candidate. Do you just exist in this world and let other people decide your future? How does that make feel?

    Sorry man but that's pathetic!

I didn't vote either. Didn't like any of them.

Therefore I can easily complain about all of them.

The selling of america with' "if ya don't vote you can't complain" is a load of craap.
    YOU CAN COMPLAIN.

I NEVER agreed with XT till now. But that's the end of it.

I'm glad Bill agrees with me. Laughing

Free speech and freedom of expression is to exercise both the right to vote and the right not to vote.

Either way a person makes a decision about the process. Either way a person makes a statement about the process.  Either way a person is being productive.

It's too bad some aren't that intelligent enough to " get it ".

    Oh well.
