Romney closing cancer center, threatening to kill more people with cancer

Oops.  I mean the democrats, you know, the Obama party.  Closing a cancer center outside the convention, as it represents a security risk.

So, Romney is falsely accused by the obama campaign of killing a woman with cancer, and now, the democrats actually put cancer patients at risk, for their little convention.

you can't make this stuff up.

Federal security for the party conventions is a waste of money. Just like the money the repubs have not refused from the federal government for expenses for their convention. The security is a budget issue since the repubs want everyone on medicare to pay their own way. As a private organization why the hell don't they pay their own way? The bill paying for these expenses was a bipartisan soak the taxpayer bill.

"You can't make this stuff up", but you certainly can embellish it. Here's the thing. Who chose to close the doors of Carolinas Hematology-Oncology Associates? Was it Carolinas Hematology-Oncology Associates? Uhm, yep. Have they provided access to other locations to provide treatment? Again, yep. Is anyone going to die? Not likely.
You make it sound as if Obama personally cast the order to close this place down. But in reality Carolinas Hematology-Oncology Associates (only open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday) chose to do so. And "open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday" kinda shuts you the f up.

"Carolina's Hematology Oncology Associates will have two other locations open around Mecklenburg County during the DNC. An employee says South Tryon patients will be able to receive treatment at the two other locations." So a few patients have to drive a littler further. Small price to pay to accommodate the people that made it so the evil insurance companies can't cut off their treatments because the max out their insurance coverage.

This, people, is the core of Obamacare, denying and degrading some people coverage in favor of the elite.

Maybe if you were doing the driving, after getting a bag full of chemo treatment, barely able to walk to your car, you might think differently.

Naw,  what am I saying? DWL is committed to the displacing and inconveniencing of cancer patients in order to not inconvenience the object of his worship, Obama.

I truly hope no one is driving after a bag full of Chemo.  You're concern for the sick is touching except for the fact that you would have no problem denying them medical insurance or cutting them off once them hit their max.

Degrading people - you mean like having them beg not to have their Health Insurance cut off because they are too sick?

As republicans really cared about the down and out.

Interesting. The comment I posted is now gone. How is that? Not pointing fingers, just an observation. So I'll repost it........

    Madow?  Is that you?

Facts is facts.  You JUST can't make this stuff up!

the left claims to care about health care, and makes cancer patients drive further or forego treatment for the convenience of the anointed one.

The left drowns in hypocricy again.

    CABBAGE!

In Response to Re: Third GOP member clarifies GOP position on abortion:
In Response to Re: Third GOP member clarifies GOP position on abortion : Laws can, and are changed every day. Roe v Wade was a 5-4 decision. That means if the perfect catastrophe hits and the wingnuts win the Congress and WH then anything is possible. Heck, at that point it would be probable.  Roe v Wade is only one SCotUS seat away from being overturned. The Robert's court has already shown it's disregard for previously settled law with it's Citizen's ruling.
    Posted by 12-Angry-Men

And, of course, decisions can be eroded without being erased. Which is the biggest reason why "don't worry, Roe is the law" is a weak dodge.

Legal scholars would point to the myriad exceptions to the exclusionary rule or warrant requirement that have sprung up.

Knowing this, Republicans are endlessly passing state laws that do not outright ban abortion, but restrict it some way. Some of those restrictions are overturned, but most are upheld.

Every single upheld restriction is another chip out of Roe. Now most of these aren't a tremendous deal for a reasonably well to do person who lives reasonably near a large city.

Trouble is that a lot of people aren't so well to do or near a large city. So the more steps they have to take, the harder it is to get the abortion for them (wait 48 hours; have statutorily proscribed number of visits to doctor before abortion requried, etc.)

If they're poor, they tend to be less educated. So, they may be swayed by legislated false medical advice, such as "abortion may make you suicidal".

And as we know, certain GOP state legislatures recently tried mandating legislative rape (invasive intravaginal ultrasound, no matter whether medically advised, as a prerequisite).
