Re: "Florida women supported Romney in droves"

I think it was something like 52 percent to Gingrich's 28 percent. None of this should come as a shock. I think the only surprising thing to me is that 28 percent of women could overcome their distaste enough to check him off on the ballot. I know one thing for sure..as a woman..I don't want him representing me. I'd rather take my chances with Romney..

I am not necessarily a Gingrich uber fan, but, I find it so strange that women would vote for a sexual predator like Clinton, yet, dismiss Gingrich for lesser offenses.  I just find that interesting.

Hi Skeeter.. I can answer that with one word : Charisma

Clinton had it and Newt...for sure ..does not. I am not saying I agree with it..but apparently some women are willing to overlook an abundance of faults in a man who is also charismatic.

Mitt has better hair, pure and simple, it will count for points if Mitt makes the general election.  Newt looks a little creepy at times.

If this is true then it really doesn't say much for the female species.

As opposed to men in general?

Hookers and Hooters says it all if you want to talk shallow and senseless.

    Not buying it.

It is about social issues.  Women were willing to commit sexual acts on Clinton as long as Clinton kept abortion legal, leaving out that it was never in danger.

It is feminist ideology, pure and simple.

Men are generally hopeless.  If it were not for women, Obama and Romney would be escorted to the microphone after every primary with a dance girl on each arm.
But, save for the few with no real-world experience, like state employees, men are typically more practical when it comes to politics.

Tell the next state trooper or childrens' social worker you meet how they have "no real-world experience"...I'm sure they'll be all ears.

And I fail to see how history supports your sexist conclusion.  Most political conflicts since the beginning of civilization can be pinned squarely on men.

Skeeter..do a little research on charismatic leadership styles.  Trust me...that is a major difference between Clinton and Gingrich. The reality is..there is just nothing appealing about Gingrich. He whines when things don't go his way..and he has shown no evidence that he is even a good leader, never mind a charismatic one.
By the way...there certainly is no crime in women voting for the candidate who is going to uphold their rights..is there?

    Skeeter,
    this thread is truly funny.
Must say, you certainly rile up the moonbats.....your sarcasm is usually taken literally..

    Matty says:
"And I fail to see how history supports your sexist conclusion.  Most political conflicts since the beginning of civilization can be pinned squarely on men. "

Classic  liberal cluelessness...he attacks a supposedly "sexist" point, followed by a ludicrous sexist generalization....
Right out of the 1970s..."I am woman, hear me roar!" If women ruled the world, all would live in love and peace"

Lying, womanizing, scoundrel = charisma to you?  I guess the difference to you is the letter next to their name, because other than that, I'm not seeing the difference, to women , at least.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: "Florida women supported Romney in droves" : You are the most ignorant of ideologues. You haven't the ability of logical thought progression, you think regressively. This is a case in point. You hate Clinton, Roe v Wade so much that you will literally post anything, no matter how derogatory or illogical and then make up some wildly absurd reason of how they could possibly be connected. You find those things you hate and then let that freakin whacko wingnut mind work it's magic and...ta...da...you have come up with some incredibly ignorant and ridiculously illogical psuedo connection that is, on it's face, laughable. Just in this thread, you went from saying women would demean themselves, perform a sexual act on Clinton, for Roe v Wade to the next post is about virtues of women. You never once considered that Roe v Wade was  SCotUS decision and the president couldn't change it if he wanted. Your whacked illogic is again evident in your moralizing on homosexuals. You state it's a moral failing and cite the incidence of HIV/AIDS as proof. When confronted with the fact that half the gay population, lesbians, hardly have any incidences of the disease, rather than rethink your untenable position you just absolved half the gay population from your warped moral judgement because it couldn't be explained by facts and doubled-down on your sanctimonious preaching about gay men.  YOU"RE A FREAKIN PATHETIC, SANCTIMONIOUS, HYPOCRITICAL MORON!!!
