"Negotiation" my __. The GOP is holding America hostage unless the Dems undo their own legislation before it goes into effect. You know it, I know it, and everyone know it.
It's easy to coward and just call people liars huh? lol
you said "The GOP is holding America hostage unless the Dems undo their own legislation before it goes into effect"
How is putting themselvex back under the legislation istead of opting themselves out "undoing" the legislation?
How is delaying a tax on medical devices "undoing it"?
The dems could have easily said "we will put ourselves back under the plan and delay the tax for a year" That or even one of them would have been a sign of compromise but, no they say f-u and the american people we dont want to be in it but, you sure will be!!
Why don't the wingnuts allow a vote on the Senate bill?
OK, let's be honest. I'll work with you.
So, the House didn't take up the Senates clean bill, fair enough.
Why didn't the Senate passthe bill that would have funded everything but Obamacare and then go subit a bill to fund Obamacare?
Because they have, under the Constitution, the enumerated right to amend any bill sent to them by the HoR.
They exercised that right, gave every senator a vote on the HoR bill and when the votes were tallied the ACA defunding was removed. That is democracy, that is abiding by the Constitution.
That same HoR bill, after the Senate held their vote, was sent back to the HoR.
The HoR now refuses to allow a vote on that bill.
Instead they will write another bill, send it to the Senate, the Senate will hold a vote with the same results and the HoR will not vote on that bill and the wingnuts will start again with another bill, and another...rather than allowing a vote on their original bill.
