And yet this American HERO that gave 50 years of his life to this country and is completely dedicated to America, land of the free and home of the brave...........lost a presidential run to an incompetent, unqualified, 143 day-junior senator.
It`s a shame that the electorate is so misinformed, uneducated, and well, downright stupid, that this could have happened. To make it worse, those same fools re-elected the dope to do more damage with another 4 years.
Gas-up, healthcare costs-up, food costs-up, unemployed/under employed-up, taxes-up, divisiveness-up, gridlock-up.
What a mess.
Ongoing mistake of conservatives: the people are too stupid to vote for the better man. How many elections will have to take place before they realize the "better man" has to have "better" policies? Best get used to Democracy. It is not going anywhere. -

So basically...you're an elitist and know better than everyone else?Maybe if your "HERO" didn't pick a mentally challenged firebrand ditz as his running mate he would have had a chance....
Maybe if your "HERO" didn't sell his honor down the river in the run-up to and during the campaign, abandoning all his principles to pose as farther right than he ever was, maybe then he would have won....

So, when it's a repub in office for a lifetime, it somehow counts as as a "gift" and "service" to the country...
...but when it's dems in office for that long, it's somehow counted as "destroying america".
Got it. Lovely double standard.
Too bad the man got railroaded, humiliated and defiled by his own party in 2000. If the GOP wants to do know where they went off the rails, they can look there.
As for his terrible judgement re: the Iraqi Occupation and picking VPs, that is remanded to history.

In response to tacobreath's comment:
You don`t have to be an "elitist" to know that EVERYTHING in America is worse than it was on Jan 20th 2009.
Anyone have that chart handy of the economy nose-dive stopping abruptly and then starting to slowly get better? Maybe a chart of the DOW also?I know I know. You are far too invested in the claim that Obama is the worst President in the universe to ever change your mind, let alone admit it if you did.
