Americans see "big government" as the biggest threat!

    http://www.ijreview.com/2014/01/109879-thought-obamas-poll-numbers-bad-see-polling-big-government/

Sorry, Liberals: The American People Think This is the Biggest Threat to the Nation

    On 21, Jan 2014

While the cultural climate suggests that big government liberalism dominates the political views of Americans, recent Gallup polling suggests otherwise. Big time.

In a recent poll measuring Americans’ opinions on government, business and labor, big government had the worst levelever recorded:

    gallup-government

Surprisingly, even with Obama’s constant droning on about how big business is the biggest threat to mankind and every living being on Earth, Americans have been growing more and more distrustful of big government. The slide in approval began in 2009 – long before the implementation of Obamacare.

The prior high for big government was 65% in 1999 and 2000. Big government has always topped big business and big labor, including in the initial asking in 1965, but just 35% named it at that time.

Maybe there’s still hope for America.

Geez....if this were a constant droning, perhaps you could provide a single quote from the president that implies it?  I won't wait.

Today’s conservatives have a nearly pathological hatred of anything about the federal government.  Which begs the question:  Why should we elect people to the federal government who hate it?  Would we eat at a restaurant where the chef hates cooking or visit a doctor who hates sick people? Of course not.

Incidentally, The states with the most haters of the federal government are also the biggest parasites of federal tax dollars; How do career federal welfare recipients rail against the very source of their economic good fortune without their heads exploding in hypocrisy?

I say let Nebraska guarantee it's own damn crop insurance. Let Louisiana rebuild the dikes around New Orleans all by themselves. Let the State of Mississippi take over the flood control for Mississippi. Let the folks of Florida deal with Hurricaine damage themselves. Let Oklahoma do it's own Tornado predictions with it's own satellites.

People need to wake up from their Fox induced coma and realize what conservatives really stand for.  They fundamentally do not believe in the idea of the *United* States of America....its really that simple.

Then maybe you should blame the right people, because our debt is a direct result of Voodoo economics, Neo-Conservative militarism run amok, deregulation, and the recession that these failed ideologies left in their wake.

Its relevant because high end tax cuts, aggressive foreign policy, and deregulation of Wall St are still very much priorities of conservatives.  In fact, I don't think they have any other priorities.

No, you should not try to sweep it under the rug. We must continue to analyze past administrations failures and keep these topics on the front burner so they wont be repeated by future administrations.

    Until we don't.

Sadly, one of our favorite ways of 'adapting' throughout history is to kill each other in mass quantities.

How about setting up a trillion dollar health insurance scheme (pushed into law) that makes billions for insurance companies off the backs of the middle classand fails to meet the promises to the American people!!

How about a trillion dollar stimulous package that was a total debacle?
