    Another Benghazi pesky question

Why are the twenty or more survivors of the embassy raid, massacre  and abandonment in Benghazi being held incommunicado by the Obama/Clinton junta?

They mentioned yesterday on the responsible news shows that more will be speaking this week.  This thing isn`t going away.

No this apparently has strong legs and will be unfolding for the next few weeks atleast

For example why does Issa want to speak to Pickering and Mullens privately under oath and not in public ?

Must be afraid of those pesky little answers they will give .

It was a consulate, not an embassy.  There are at most five American survivors who were at the compound at the time of the attack - not twenty.  Only one died at the consulate, so it's hard to characterize as a massacre.  A response team was dispatched from the annex immediately, and re-inforcements arrived from Tripoli within a few hours, so it's hard to say there was abandonment.  A junta is a military dictatorship, and one of the conservative complaints is that the military was not involved enough in the incident.

But that aside, this is probably the most informed conservative post I've ever read.

Anything to try and stunt Ms. Clinton's hypothetical run in 2016.  American Crossroads is already spending money to produce commercials to that effect.

    Good luck with all that.

Can't count on the press to do her in this time, just like they did when she was running against Obama.

That could be directed as either side!

Since todays politics are not about what a candidate has accomplished but, more about how successfully one side can effectively smear the other.

    47% repub  lap dogs

    47% dems lap dogs

the last 6% is all they need to reach!

I submit that's what politics has always been about.

The main difference now is the velocity by which the smears fly and, apparently, how some people so quickly make up their minds.

This is still the era of "instant gratification" - in which if it can't be gotten NOW, then it's just not worth getting.  All jabs and no haymakers, if you will. (of this, I am suspect, too)

It may not have been twenty since there is only international news sources to query but I'm betting when the wraps are finally off, it will be at least 10. Whether a consulate or an embassy and whether one on no deaths occurred there, it wasand always will be the place Americans were abandoned by their country and president!
