    Re: Are You A Flake?

Much like she was confused by where the battle of Lexington and Concord took place..Bachman also seems to be a little confused as to why the Tea Party movement started. In her campaign speeches Bachman states that the Tea Party movement started as a result of people's frustration with Obama's policies..the only problem with that is that the Tea Party movement started while Bush was in office..and as a protest to his over the top spending. She needs to reign in the rhetoric a bit and concentrate more on the facts..maybe then..people won't be asking her in interviews if she is a flake..lol

I guess God only tells her to run for political office, and He does not give her the answers for tough questions. Bachman was the first tea party member to run away from the birther issue.  I like her for finally seeing the fiction in this inflated myth.    I do see a crazy person just dying to come out, all it will take is the right debate.

You are dead wrong about the birther issue, and the rest is just leftie snark.

    But....but...according to lefties, the Tea Party is 100%  r a c i s t!
How could it have started under Bush?

    Re: Are You A Flake?

Bobinva..I am sure that I don't have to explain to you the original intent of the Tea Party...you know..before all the right wing nuts got involved in the movement..? The original Tea Party movement was based purely on fiscal responsibility and was indeed made up of many independents and even a percentage of democrats. Since then..the right wing nut jobs have taken over the movement and have made it all about their ideological social agenda. There is less talk about serious fiscal responsibility and more talk about a social agenda that will set the country back decades.
By the way...I don't know anyone who thinks the tea party is 100 percent racist. Are there racists in the tea party..? For sure..since racists exist everywhere..

I think his question was sexist. He would not ask that question of Obama.

I think the revolution took place in the 57th state, Liberaldonia.  Or, is Obama confused?

The TEA parties started about three years ago, so I see your point on it being during the Bush years, but Bush is no friend of the conservative movement, and it was only at the tail end when TARP came into play.

[QUOTE]Hmmm.  I'm VERY (paleo) conservative, didn't vote for McCain and Duncecap, believe Roe v Wade is correct, that Obama is not a socialist (hell, he's Bush!), and constitutionally eligible for the presidency.  I think Carter was a nice guy (just not a particularly good POTUS, ditto Ford), and Camp David was STUNNING (death aside).  I do not believe Clinton should have been impeached (for what he was impeached, albeit he copped to both articles), and was a very good POTUS.  I think his wife might just be brilliant.  I like Rahm Emanuel, Tip O'Neill and would vote for Dan Inouye for POTUS tomorrow.  I believe gays should be able to marry in the eyes of the law, and DOMA is illegal (already determined). Should Tony the Tiger be spraying me with sugar? I'm GRRRRRRRRRRRRR-EAT!

Medford must be getting some of its water from Cambridge.  I suggest you only drink bottled water from now on.
