Axelrod: Government ‘So Vast,‘ Obama Can't Know About Wrongdoing

The government is simply too big for President Obama to keep track of all the wrongdoing taking place on his watch, his former senior adviser, David Axelrod, told the official Obama defender network MSNBC. “Part of being president is there’s so much beneath you that you can’t know because the government is so vast,” he explained.

This from the crowd who has been expanding the vast government to new levels of vastness...unaccountable vastness.

Wait till ObamaCare and your health care is regulated by the IRS, which , as we know, is an "independent agency", which no one is accountable for, due to the vastness of the Government....

Yes....the federal government is vast.  Over 2 million employees.

Big governments are for big countries (like ours), but your 'new levels of vastness' comment is laughable considering we have roughly the same number of federal employees under Obama as when he took office......which is hundreds of thousands less than under Reagan's 'small' government.

    In response to A_Concerned_Citizen's comment:

CLC and fringe-right like big gov't, they just don't like paying for it.

Case in point, Medicare Part D, the fringe-right's attempt at bribing seniors for their vote, was the largest unfunded expansion of Medicare since it's inception.

And then there was the creation of a whole new cabinet-level dept in Homeland Security under the neo-cons with it's $100 billion budget and 75,000 employees.

Allowing seniors to have drug coverage was a bribe? what did you have against seniors having drug coverage? Why do you hate senior citizens?

In the words of Lloyd Christmas.."Senior citizens, although slow and dangerous behind the wheel, can still serve a purpose. I'll be right back. Don't you go dying on me!"
