Oh please.  You have Sarah Palin telling GOP candidates to "speak through Fox News", Sharron Angle commenting that everytime she goes on Fox and mentions the need for donations that she clears tens of thousands of dollars before she can even leave the studio.   But here you guys are trying to pretend like an appearance by Ax on Letterman and Maher on CNN is some media conspiracy?

Meanwhile NewsCorp has cut checks for 1 MILLION DOLLARS to the Republican Governors Association and the conservative US Chamber of Commerce, each.  News Corp has exclusive contracts with Palin, Santorum, Gingrich, and Huckabee, all potential GOP presidential candidates who if they run would be the beneficiaries of months and months of advertising that they were PAID FOR.  FOX dispatches media personalities and resources to TEA Party rallies and broadcasts from those same rallies but the "lame stream media" is in the tank for Obama.  Can anyone point out MSNBC, CNN, or other media organizations that dispatched their top rated hosts to a liberal rally?  NAME ONE.

    Really, you guys are ridiculous.

OH NOES OBAMA ISSUED ORDER 66

THE LIBERALS ARE COMING THE LIBERALS ARE COMING!!!!!!!!

"Conservative black leaders who participated in the rally hosted by radio and TV personality Glenn Beck at the Lincoln Memorial on Saturday said the event honored the legacy and vision of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr."
"The event, the leaders said, was designed to honor people based on the content of their character and not the color of their skin, the very idea Dr. King spoke of in his speech at the Memorial almost half a century ago."

I don't recall Ed broadcasting from the event with MSNBC backing, sets, cameras, and production crews as FOX news has done, and neither John nor Stephen are news organizations they are presenters of saterical current events programs on a comedy network.  Perhaps I should have clarified my comment a bit better but I was probably giving too much credit that people would draw the distinction between mainstream news media and comedy central.  My bad.

Would you like to try again?

So the media shouldn't focus on a candidate that said she dabbled in witch craft?  It's OK for FOX News to carry BS about Obama not being born in the US, but it's not OK for CNN or anyone else to show video of a Senatorial candidate saying she dabbled in witchcraft.

And if she was some wierdo, they probably wouldn't.  but she's been endorsed by the darling of the right wing - Sawa Palin.  Doesn't the public have a right to know how well Sawa can judge people - afterall, she's all but announced that she's running for president?

I wonder what FOX Noise would be talking about if they could find someone who said they heard that Obama dabbled in witch craft?

I'm sure they'd take the high road and give the President the benefit of the doubt.  Fox doesn't want those kind of ratings.

No. That she dabbled in wicca as a teenager, has no impact on her ability to perform. They should focus on some of the other things she said (like the masterbation thing) because those would matter to peoples' daily lives.

That said, I don't understand why the left is going after her. I think she is a little loopy, but a lot of that footage of her goes back to when she was very young. Most people don't have that kind of record of their thoughts at that age.

I will say this though. Would take her over palin any day. I have to agree with maher. Palin comes off as mean and nasty. But O'donnel comes off as a polite, a bit of a sweatheart.

Just because FOX does something, that doesn't make it right. In fact, if FOX does something, usually that means it isn't right.

Clinton didn't inhale, Bush was an alcoholic (with DUI to boot) who was known to enjoy some Coke from time to time, so at this point past substance abuse by a President is no really news.  W really paved the way for recovering addicts who want to run the country.

Really?  Thank you so much for pointing that out.  But I think the point was none of with people complaining about CNN hainvg Maher come on to talk about O'Donnell and witch craft don't seem to have a problem with FOX airing complete nonsense about any and all things liberal.

The O'Donnel witch story doesn't have legs, the Obama drug story doesn't have legs, that is my point. Maybe in the 50s, people would have cared. Now these kinds of things don't score political points.

Bill Maher going on CNN and expressing his view, isn't the same as CNN doing a story on O'Donnel and the witch thing. I've never gotten the impression from any CNN story that there is much to this. On MSNBC they are having a field day with it. On CNN not so much.

I love it when apoplectic conservatives consider Comedy Central a mainstream news outlet and yet they think that foxnews is NOT mainstream....

...or when they think that their conservative leaders don't have the same weaknesses in their personal histories as their liberal counterparts.

Bush Jr. did enough coke to kill a moose, and yet he gets a total pass from repubs because he was supposedly 'born-again'.  Same with the fraud Beck.  What a crock....
