Re: Bill Maher Warns Romney Supporters:

One of the things about being a comedian by trade is that you can get away with saying a lot of things that others can't.

I love listening to George Carlin or Eddie Murphy or Lewis Black. These guy are ( were) hilarious. They do get into many social and political comments, and they get away with it because of artistic licence. It is humour and it makes us laugh, it takes the degoff of serious subjects. Cheech and Chong were masters of this.

However, much as I like Bill Maher, he does get a little out of hand. He goes over the line politically. He probably shouldn't have said that. I think maybe he is becoming like many of the radio personalities like Don Imus and Howard Stern , who think that just say anything and it's okay....because it's funny to them...but not everyone hears the humor.

If I were black the only thing I would be looking for right now is a job with 14% unemployment in the black community.

    [/QUOTE]

But that means there are few million who do have jobs....not just NBA, NFL and MLB, where they seem to be in the MAJORITY. 14% is high, but that's not all black people.

'Black People Know Who You Are and They Will Come After You'

Bill Maher on HBO's Real Time Friday might have said one of the most disgraceful things uttered during the 2012 campaign season.

"If you're thinking about voting for Mitt Romney, I would like to make this one plea: black people know who you are and they will come after you" (video follows with commentary):

Imagine for a moment the outrage if a conservative commentator said even jokingly to Obama supporters, "White people know who you are and they will come after you."

That would be the end of that person's career. Period. No questions asked. Done!

But Maher who's adored by the Obama-loving media can say this with total impunity.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: HBO should be ashamed to have this disgusting man as one of its on air personalities. Period. End of story.

Why, what's supposed to be important? A white comedian patronizing blacks through the use of comedy? If I were black I'd wonder why Bill Maher and others of his ilk are constantly tring to gain my trust. Maybe some day blacks will figure it all out and come for him! That would be a hoot now wouldn't it.

I think you missed the joke.  He's not patronizing blacks.  He's making fun of conservative white people's fear of blacks.

Its not totally true that comedians can get away with saying ANYTHING. For example comedin Katt Williams was in Arizona i think it was, and a guy in the crowd was chanting mexico mexico and Katt Williams didnt like that and he said if its so great in mexico go back there and there was a big uproar that Katt Williams was racist against mexicans.. Ill leave a link to the video and have you guys tell me if hes being racist.

No....I'm pretty sure he's patronizing blacks. Isn't it great when you can teach bigots a whole new way of looking at te truth!

I just got off the phone with Bill Maher.  He said he was in fact making fun of conservative white people's irrational fear of black people.  Oh and he said that anyone who thinks he was patronizing  a group of people who don't watch his show is stupid.  That's what Bill Maher said.

some black folk are starting to get how theyve been used and manipulated.

    http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/11/02/Black-Grassroots-Activists-Protest-Obama-Fundraiser-City-Hall-and-ABC-News-in-Chicago

Thursday evening in Chicago, black grassroots activists fed up with manipulation of their suffering by city leadership turned out to protest a fundraiser for President Obama held by Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Illinois Speaker of the General Assembly Michael Madigan.

According to the protesters, Emanuel, Madigan, and Obama pretend to try to help their community but

do nothing to curb the funneling of money and contracts to corrupt community organizations

and union-controlled worksites that won’t hire black labor.

Try Wakefield (Brown's hometown) it's 96% white.  Cambridge is 66% white.  But that spoils the rant...

    Oh, I get it.

Liberal comedian poking fun at white conservative people on race = not racist.

White person disagreeing with the radical Obama socialist agenda = racist.
