Re: Can Barry totally DIVIDE a country or what ??

Obama isnt the one dividing anything.  The american public supports his actions on gun control, as do the rank and file of the NRA.  That a crackpot from Texas and Oregon got some press is irrelevant to the larger discussion with the exception of demonstrating how unhinged right wingers are when confronted with reality.

Divide a country is one thing but he is preparing to stomp all over the COnstitution much to the delight of the moonbat population. The moonbats love to quote that line from someone about safety and freedom, but most of the time they are under bedsheets like scared rabbits begging for the government to save them even at the cost of losing liberty.

There's this thing called the Supreme Court.  Whenever CONGRESS passes a law that is unconstitutional, it can be brought before the Supreme Court to be overturned.

The country was plenty divided before Obama was elected.

The GOP seems to prefer it that way.

Funny, I don't remember this anger under King George.

Then you have either a very poor or a very selective memory.

And not for nothing, but the electorate has a way of dividing itself quite effectively.

    Right.  You are blindingly stupid.

during the Bush years, the scream was for bipartisanship.  Then Obama and Pelosi were in charge, and Republicans didn't even need to be consulted.

Obama, instead of reaching across the aisle, continues to demonize the Republicans and divide the country.

    thems the facts.

    Jolly good job Barry !

Nobody does it better....... makes me feel sad for the rest.

Nobody divides the country like you do...

Gee, I wonder what it is about Obama that makes so many right wingers hate him with such passion.  What could it be...  It's less about his policies (often very similar to his predecessors), than his very existence which gets fringe folks angry.  What could it be about him...  Hmmm...

Can he? He did! We are on a downward slide from here on out. Being 50 I'm glad I saw the better part of America in my youth. I'll be an old Geiser when they euthanize me under Obama care. Feel bad for the you youngsters.

The black helicopters are hovering over your house now.  They will take you to the Kenyan death panel momentarily.  No time to waste for the likes of you.

Re: Can Barry totally DIVIDE a country or what ??

I wish Ruben would go deeper but those crackpot idiots in OR and TX are already in the wrong. I think you RWNJ's forget that there is no nullification of Federal Law - you can pass all the laws trying to overturn Federal law but SCOTUS (if they follow the constituion and not ideological activism) will overturn almost automatically

    FYI (gleaned rom other sources):

    Nullification vs. Constitutional Challenge

Nullification should be distinguished from the situation in which a state brings a lawsuit to challenge the constitutionality of a federal law. A state may challenge the constitutionality of a federal statute by filing a lawsuit in federal court seeking to declare the federal law unconstitutional. Such a lawsuit is decided by the federal courts, with the Supreme Court having final jurisdiction. This is the accepted method of challenging the constitutionality of a federal statute. This is not nullification, even if the federal courts uphold the state's position and declare the federal statute unconstitutional. The theory of nullification is that the states have the unilateral power to determine the constitutionality of federal laws, and that a state's determination of unconstitutionality cannot be reviewed or reversed by the federal courts. Thus, nullification involves a declaration by a state legislature (or a state court) that a federal statute is unconstitutional and cannot be enforced within the state. Under the theory of nullification, such a declaration by a state is final and binding, and cannot be overruled by the federal courts. On the other hand, when a state files a lawsuit in federal court challenging the constitutionality of a federal statute, the ultimate decision on constitutionality is made by the federal courts, not by the state legislature or state courts. Because such a lawsuit recognizes the authority of the federal courts to make the ultimate decision on constitutionality, it is not a use of nullification.

Those law enforcement people pledge an oath to uphold the law AND the constitution.

So they are already on the way to violating their oath and on SCOTUS overturn of said state statutes, then  they are breaking the law

    IDIOTs!

You hate a lot of people different from you.  Your kind creates the division in the country: you demand that we accept your truths and will force them on us if necessary.  Obama is nothing compared to fringe right wingers.

Funny how wingnuts in one post rage against Obama and liberals and in another post complain about the country being so divided.

Maybe it just bubbled up some deep set anger and frustration of flash back memories from childhood when they wernt invited to a birthday party.

and maybe it stems from the Messiahs efforts to turn this democracy into a Big Brother socialist state.

or maybe it stems from you calling President Obama the messiah......duh
