C'mon.........really?

    This isn't funny anymore, seriously........

The October projection was 1/2 million signed up, by the end of the first week in November, there are less than 50k signed up.

OK Johnny, we're having a test today, try to get better that 50% and you'll be doing great!

Oh, you only got 10%, well that's OK too, it's the GOP fault........10% is better than.....Cry

That is great news. The fewer that sign up the better.

It isn't the Republicans that are going to call for repealing this atrocious piece of partisan legislation.

It will be the Democrats - the ones that are going to lose their seats in the House and Senate if they do not take a stand.

They did tell you they thought it would take a couple months to fix their screw-ups.

You can jeer about the screw-up if you like, but treating the number who have already signed up as a prophecy from Delphi is just plain stupid.
Thanks for confirming, you're the only one with any stones to respond, you're still an idiot for supporting anything this administration says or does.

But hey, it's your right to be stupid.

    See, I can name-call too!

3% is the percentage that have signed up based on what the admin projected would be needed.

Sorry, when the apolgists and liberals on are the ropes or outright abandoning ship like Shaheen and others who are submitting legislation to allow people to keep their insurance, its just too much fun to keep it to a single thread.  All of the subtleties of the inept program must be highlighted to protect future generations from making the same mistakes.

It's a teachable moment that needs to be driven home.

So now a tweak to the law is "outright abandoning"?

Another re-definition from the neo-con dictionary.
Well if it was just a tweak, it should be done by now instead of Obama hanging like a pinata watching his credability and political capital go down the drain.

Yes what we have here is a failure to lead and manage.

Lets assume legislation gets put to the House floor that simply allows these 5 million people to keep their current insurance.

Do you see it passing?  I sure don't.....I see another hissy fit from the Tea Party that the legislation doesn't go far enough.  There will be hell to pay back in the home district when these reps vote on something that "improves" the law instead of repealing or fully defunding it.

Ummmm, in case you're not up to speed on your Constitution thingy ... it's Congress who has to pass the legislation.

So do you think they will help fix this minor flaw and make ACA better or try and take down the whole thing over one minor adjustment?
Well when you look at how it was passed through reconciliation; and that it never has had a majority of public support, I'd say it's an opportunity for a grand fix.  After all why let a good crisis go to waste. From the Dem play book I'd imagine that the GOP would expect a lot of support to address a lot of problems in order for the Dems to get a little win on this.

Chaulk it up turn about is fair play.

Well, the TEA party, if they threw a hissy fit, woudl turn out to be right, just like they were right to demand a delay.

I think the hell to pay will be the democrats, who have to go back to the districts and explain why losingyour health insurance and paying more is such a good idea.

I sure hope they don't decide to deal.  Allowing a % of the population to keep inadequate insurance undermines the whole purpose of the law.

Republicans are waging a war of anecdotes.  Individual stories of cancelled policies without any objective comparison of what they are losing vs what is being made available to them on the exchanges.
