Pope Francis is known for his humility and sense of humor. Both are important qualities in a person and a leader.
I hope his efforts at reform begin with the opulance and excesses in Vatican culture. It is time for the leaders of the Catholic Church to live as Jesus lived...not as the Roman emporers lived.

I found myself very emotional.
He asked his flock to bless HIM first. There's some real humility there.
Viva la Papa! Vivat Jesus.

The Vatican says the Pope's taken the time to go back to his hotel and pay his bill. Needed to set a good example - given his new job.
How nice would it be if our own leaders would follow the lead of this Pontiff.

Really? Why? If he is really devoted to the poor then how can liberals (or anyone for that matter) complain? You don't have to share the faith to repect a goal to make people's lives better. -

For some people.. politics superceeds religion.
The pope stands for key issues that libs fight against.
No gay marriage
No abortion
Obama has attack drones flying over the Vatican right now.
They were deployed in minutes as opposed to Benghazi.
We separate politics and religion for a reason. People will never agree to faith based approaches in the political world. -

The separation is like many of the Messiahs goals.... it's only virtual. This administration has declared a war on religion.
So what happens when Mans law runs counter to Gods laws?
Stop with the Messiah nonsense. Just because you think he is the Anti-Christ does NOT mean his supporters believe the reverse. Mindless ranting...Separation of Church and State is in the Constitution. Read it sometime. There is no war on religion except that some religious zealots want to impsoe their beliefs on others. Look at the Creationism nonsense some states have to wrestle with.
And you have no concept of God's "law". God is no bigot.

I hope you have some breath mints... drinking in school can get yo azz fired.. but not in Mass !You are telling me I have no concept of Gods law? YOU ??!!
Being critically judgemental of others that you know nothing about must be a genetic trait.
Yes, I am telling you have NO concept of God's law. He is no bigot. And I think I know your views quite well. You are what you are. It ain't pretty.
