Cowboy clown banned for wearing Obama mask

Yes, whoever wants to ban this guy can ban him. But why is it so insulting or "mocking" for a private citizen to wear a mask of the current President?

People have always worn masks of Presidents. Some complimentary, most not so. If you are a white African American President does that entitle you to some kind of different treatment?

    Really, get a life, relax.

George Bush's 'beheaded' mask was put on a pike on an HBO show by leftists who chortled at the inside joke.

Yet the tamest of jokes, by rodeo clowns with a long tradition of wearing masks, is too much for the sensitivities of the Dear Leader's worshippers.....it is racist, you see.

    Just Pathetic.

Cute. Is parody of public officials verbotten?

Is this the Benghazi video ?

I thought it was funny. People who use this for the race card in my mind are the real racists.

Remember the days when wearing a Bush clown mask was a shining example of freedom of speech? Yeah, that was great.

"The Missouri State Fair on Monday imposed a lifetime ban on a rodeo clown whose depiction of President Barack Obama getting charged by a bull was widely criticized by Democratic and Republican officials alike.

The rodeo clown won't be allowed to participate or perform at the fair again. Fair officials say they're also reviewing whether to take any action against the Missouri Rodeo Cowboy Association, the contractor responsible for Saturday's event.

The entertainment during the bull riding contest featured a clown wearing a mask of Obama with an upside down broomstick attached to his backside. Spectators were asked if they wanted to see "Obama run down by a bull."

    [/QUOTE]

Seems we have been down this road before, without the bi-partisan condemnation.

"The big white gate flew open. The bull came out bucking. The rider flopped from side to side and the bullfighters held back, letting the bull make his moves until the rider dropped off. Licciardello crouched in a heavily padded barrel, a human target should the bull decide to charge. Hawkins waited near the barrel, holding his big inner tube. A dummy with a George Bush mask stood beside the clown, propped up by a broomstick.

T.J. Hawkins rolled out the big inner tube, and the bull lowered his head, shot forward and launched into the tube, sending it bounding down the center of the arena. The crowd cheered. Then the bull saw the George Bush dummy. He tore into it, sending the rubber mask flying halfway across the sand as he turned toward the fence, sending cowboys scrambling up the fence rails, hooking one with his horn and tossing him off the fence.

Well, I would have thought  that you would have said that I put on 75 pounds, and strolled around lighting cigars with hundred dollar bills.

Bush, a former pilot, landing on a carrier, wearing a pilot jump suit, is noting like a rodeo clown putting on an Obama mask.

I'm going to start calling you Jerry Van Dyke.

Sounds like there was more BS than usual at that partic'lar rodeo.

Wearing the mask and goofing around is fine.

Asking the crowd, "Do you want to see Obama run over?" strains credulity, even for dim-witted ideologues.

No, but that's exactly why it "strains credulity".

And predictably, the crowd lapped it up...saying more about them than about the clowns.

And the beat goes on, ba-da-dum-de-dum....

It must really be rough going through life afraid of mirrors.

Yes, many stupid GOP ers answered a poll by saying Obama was Muslim. Many wrongly thought because Obama's Dad was Muslim, that was Obama's ethnicity.

I got ya beat, though...in 2007, per a Zogby poll , 42% of Democrats were 9/11 truthers or quasi-truthers....Bush and Cheney did it!

On the ignorance scale, tough to beat that.
