Re: Democrat makes case for Tax RATE Cuts

Hey ya freakin moron, that would be relevent if the tax rate 90%.

Why are you wingnuts so ignorant of REALITY?!

Newsflash spanky, speeches on taxes from the 60's are not relevent today.

It's just plain idiotic to try and compare the circumstance today with those half-a-century ago.

Next you'll be channeling Herbert Hoover on what to do for a economic recession.

Gawd, living in the past is no way to go through your miserable lives.

I believe tax cuts can stimulate the economy, at least short-term, by freeing up capital for spending and investing, but I don't see how cutting tax rates, and then eliminating the same amount in deductions does anything to stimulate the economy.  If it's really the same amount of taxes paid by the wealthy, how does this stimulate growth?

I believe Mitt Romney's tax position is a sham and he believes in 1 thing.

Absolutely above all else, keep the 15 percent tax rate on capital gains and dividends.

    That's it.

The rest of the tax code? the deductions? Who cares, throw it all under the bus.

That's why you clowns spend all day on these boards, and Mitt is going to be our next President, he knows this stuff!

    Don't you listen?

Obama is a nice guy, great dad, great speaker, and one of the worst Presidents ever!!!!!!!

Re: Democrat makes case for Tax RATE Cuts

    In response to Newtster's comment:

Newsflash moron, the concepts are the same regardless. You want to argue numbers, fine.

    Seriously?!

On a thread you started about taxes your crying about me wanting to argue numbers?

My gawd you wingnuts get more and more ridiculous as the number of your arguments shown to be idiotic continues to rise.

Ya, arguing over a 90% tax rate from half a century ago versus a rate that is one-third of that today is just quibbling over 'numbers'.

    You wingnuts are freakin HILARIOUS!!!!

And by-the-by, that Laffer curve that you idiots keep saying is sooo important to tax policy....newsflash spanky, no one has EVER said at what point it comes into play.

It could be 50%, 60% or even the 70% which means that tax rates of 49%, 59% or 69% are all plausible levels at which to grow the economy.
