Dems VS REP and the stupids who follow blindly

Here is hoping that the POTUS actually goes to Bill Clinton for direction. For it was Bill who in his second term moved to the center as he discovered it was his only way to govern. I also hope all those other folks in the Senate and House of Representatives wake the he11 up and also move to the center to fix this country.

As for the overall election it is not just who is the president but who we put in congress. As we continue to vote in the same old people why would we ever expect any change in what happens.

I'm 62 been voting since 1971 (DEMOCRAT) when I turned 21 and have NEVER voted along any party line as opposed to 75% of the country. The issue is that 75% always vote Dem or Rep which is the actual problem. They never believe that others like libertarians or the Green Party or etc...actually may have the right answers. They also NEVER listen to them and the media never talks to them. They are left out of all debates.

Since 1971 energy independence, taxes, welfare, medicare, medicaid, and many other things have been talked about but not fixed. Despite thousands of regulations and laws the things being discussed now are the same things that were disucussed going back to 1971 and before. AND THEY HAVE GOTTEN WORSE.

So continue to vote for the same old people and continue to get the same old same old.

This country watches as other countries continually vote in people we believe are bad people. Then you see the media and oursleves say why do they do that....Guess what folks we do the same damn thing. The worse part is we actually have a vote that can count whereas many other country's citizens don't. We actually have choices but don't listen.

The 75% that voted along party lines do that every election so don't complain when nothing changes.

Obama will not move to the center like Clinton.  Why?  He views this election as vindication that he has been right all along.  Any attempt to move him to the center (in a real way, not photo opportunities) will get his back up.  He will lash out and do damage to this country.  Remember, he is the "I" and "me" president, not the "us" president.

Completely wrong in your analysis.  Obama like all second term presidents will look at making a legacy statement.  And to do this he will have to work with Congress to get things done.  It will therefore have to be a moderate legacy (except in eyes of fringe righties).

The people spoke, many people like Obama, many hate him, many voted Obama because they know Romney is the bigger fraud. Nobody believes that a candidate from a Green party or any other independent party can accomplish anything at all. They may have good ideas, but you know what that is worth....having an idea and turning into reality are two different things.

In the end, more people didn't buy the Romney propaganda, when someone has wacko extremist people like Ted Nugent,Sarah Palin and Donald Trump supporting them them you just know this is a candidate you have to question. When you lived in the state in which that the person was a lousy governor, you tend to believe he will be a lousy president. When you can see that he is a fraud...well, your decision is easy.

My analysis is spot on.  You don't understand Obama at all.  This is his chance to go for all the marbles.  THAT'S his legacy.  He will push EVERYTHING:  Cap and trade, stop oil production, legislate golbal warming, eliminate capitalism as we know it today.  Will he get it all?  No.  He will however completely destroy the ability to recover form these pushes. You are either dumb, or just trying to paint a rosy picture on what is likely to be the most radical change in this country over the next four years.

Obama move to the center like Clinton?  Yah, when pigs fly.  Obama is moving left like Chavez.  that's his model.

Not happening Reubin. Obama is an ideologue whose blind adherence to dogma precludes any potential attempt at triangulation.

The next four years will merely be a continuation of the last four years of failure. Blame will be assigned accordingly to Republicans, Christians, Wall Street, bankers, youtube videos or whatever else that they can think of to demonize at the moment. Of course, the Obama fanboys in this forum will continue to pretend that these pronouncements have some basis in reality.

These people are clueless and things are going to get much worse before they get better.

SO YOU PROVE MY POINT BY SAYING YOU BELIEVE A GOOD IDEA BY ANOTHER PARTY OTHER THAN D OR R IS UNATTAINABLE BECAUSE PEOPLE WON'T VOTE FOR A GOOD IDEA IF IT COMES FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE.

WHY CAN'T ANOTHER PARTY ACCOMPLISH A GOOD IDEA?

IT IS ONLY BECAUSE D AND R ONLY VOTE ON PARTY LINES WHICH IS OBVIOUS FROM POST HERE AND EVERY WHERE.

MY THREAD HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH ROMNEY OR OBAMA DIRECTLY. YOU SAYING WACKO EXTREMISTS AND ONLY CITING REPUBLICANS SHOWS HOW YOU ARE EXACTLY LIKE WHAT BOTH PARTIES LOVE. SOME ONE WHO DOES NOT THINK FOR THEMSELVES. OTHERWISE YOU WOULD REALIZE ALONG WITH R WACKOS THE D HAVE THEIR FAIR SHARE AS WELL. YOU WOULD ALSO SEE THAT OBAMA IS A FRAUD AS WELL SINCE HE DID NOTHING OF WHAT HE SAID HE WOULD DO 4 YRS AGO. LIKE BEING A BIPARTISIAN PRESIDENT. YES THE REP FOUGHT HIM BUT THEY ALSO GAVE HIM THE ONLY PIECE OF LEGISLATION IN HEALTHCARE SINCE THERE WERE DEMS WHO ONLY VOTED FOR IT WHEN THEY COULD HAVE THEIR STATE OPT OUT.

HOW ABOUT SPREADING THE WEALTH. THAT THOSE THAT MAKE OVER 250K SHOULD PAY MORE IN TAXES TO SUPPORT OTHERS.

FYI MANY OF THE 250K FOLKS ARE LIKE MY WIFE AND I WHO HAVE WORKED 40 TO 50 + HR WEEKS FOR OVER 40+ YEARS.  WHY SHOULD WE PAY MORE WE ARE ALREADY AT THE HIGHEST RATE. I UNDERSTAND THAT THE MULTI MILLIONAIRES SHOULD HAVE LOOP HOLES TAKEN AWAY BUT FAR TOO MANY OF THE TARGETED WORKED MANY YEARS AND LONG HOURS TO GET TO 250K.

Sure DWL, just take a look at the 19 page booklet that the Obama campaign produces in response to the question "What is your plan for the next for years?" It's essentially a rehash of the failed policies of the last four years with, and here is the important part, several pictures of the candidate himself. In other words, he's not changing a thing.

Here is a question for you DWL, as an Obama supporter, what is his plan to reduce the 16 trillion dollar deficit that we're currently running?

TFF - Move to the right to Bill Clinton. Here's a little exercise for the righties.

Look up the Health Care plan that Clinton originally put forward can compare it to Obamacare. Which one is more "liberal"?

Stop believing everything the party leaders and news outlets are telling you.  Most of the newsies are completely clueless of anything.  Actually do a little research before you decide to blindly trust what the talking heads are talking about.

I get so frustrated when the news guys bring on talking heads to talk about an issue.  they immediately go into spin.  For once I'd like to see them bring an "analyst" that was speaking the truth.

The one except in the election coverage was Steve Schmidt on MSNBC.  Yes, it was on liberal leaning MSNBC, but Schmitd is a Republican strategist.

Right, the takers won.  Look at the election map and then look at a map of Federal Spending vs. tax collection by state.

The Blue states are the net losers in the Federal Tax collection/spending game while the Red States are the net gains.  in other words, the redistribtion of income that the righties are so against is from liberal leaning areas to conservative areas.

Once again, someone repeating noise instead of actually looking at the facts.

So the deficit makes him a socialist?  Reagan had a huge deficit.  Bush left office with a huge deficit.  Clinton was more liberal than Reagan or Bush and had a balanced budget.

Just like unemployment and the basic tool of a budget (which we never see from him because he plans to spend away) .. he has no plan... NONE.

Is buying votes through bigger govt a plan?

Is p*ssing away billion in the GREEN boondogle a plan?

Is granting amnesty to millions of ILLEGAL aliens (who take jobs away from Americans) a plan?

    [/QUOTE]

Actually, granting amnesty to millions of illegals would be a smart thing to do.  they would pay income tax, increasing tax revenue.  they would be able to buy homes, stimulating the housing market.
