Putin says it was the rebels.  So it must be true.  He is the world's most dominant and effective leader at this point....and we trust him.

What difference does it make who used them?

    The Syrian government svcks.

    So do the rebels.

    It is not our fight.

Obama has no plan other than lobbing bombs or letting Puting kick him in the a55.

Give both sides chemical weapons and let them kill each other off.

Sure, why would you care, sitting safely behind a keyboard in mom's basement while thousands of Americans live and work overseas for US coporations and thousands more work for US diplomatic missions furthering our interests globally.

Yep, much better to stay in bed and let mommy tuck you in at night.

The reality brought about by technology and jet aircraft, shrinking the distances between people, is just too hard for some people to deal with.

Their response is to ignore it and hope it just goes away and doesn't affect the myriad of US interests around the world...

No, that is not the bottom line. If that is your bottom line, we definitely overestimated your intelligence.

What, you want Assad to provide you with a written confession, with him being videotaped as he narrates it while typing it?

You will stamp with rage in epistemic confusion unless and until we actually are standing next to the military as they fire it, maybe take DNA tests to make sure the person firing it is in fact a human being and a T-1000 plant?

The article recounts all the evidence pointing towards Assad's military doing it, and ruling out the rebels' having done it on the ground that they don't have the hardware!

So, you are ok with the govt killing people based on "circumstantial" evidence. Got it!

The cruelty and barbarity of war breeds indifference to human life ... on all sides.

Fresh evidence of 'executions' by rogue US marines in Iraq

Fresh photographic evidence seen by US investigators is believed to reveal that some of the 24 unarmed Iraqis killed in the Iraqi town of Haditha after an American died in a roadside bomb in November were in effect executed, it was reported yesterday.

Sure, those two acts are moral equivalents! Let's leave the facts out and presume that the Haditha incident happened as you imply.

Were the perps arrested, detained, prosecuted? Or was this incident sponsored and encouraged as routine by the US military?

Are the terrorists that torture, execute and kill each other ever brought to justice? LOL!! Yeah let's support those guys! You are nuts.

Put down the bong and get back to reality.

There is no reason to be doing anything in Syria.

This is brought to you by one who thinks there is no retaliatory threat from Iran.

I expect you to be nominated for a seat on the National Security Council by Obama any minute. You are highly qualified.

     [/QUOTE]

The conflict started out as a legitimate protest by the syrian people against a dictatorship but, that noble cause was hijacked by foreign entities and is NOW more about global political powers hedging their bets and positioning themselves to be the winner on the side!

Of course you have the sunni saudi arabians  and co. supporting the rebels against the shiites assad and the iranians as well.
