Actually, it was on point because one's opinion on where Obama should be viewed politically has to do where an individual sees themself.

My generalized post of ones online persona is based on a couple of thousands of posts over a four year period.

Not true.  I hold no allusions that the President's policy agenda perfectly matches my own priorities, which is one reason why I've remained pragmatic about his first term.  I've always known that he would govern as a centrist, and that's exactly what he did, hence one reason he was re-elected.

Believe what you like, but I think my moderate positions are evident thoughout my body of work here...more so than even you, sir.  This is despite my cynical (snarky?) nature, not because of it.

Based on what I've seen over the years on here he seems to be pretty right on. Why is it not ok to have an option about people he's been debating with for years?

Again, he's welcome to his opinion.  That doesn't make it correct or even reflective of political realities.  Part of this debate is the definition of the political spectrum and how one side completely mis-read it viz. the country.

It's like the notion that we are a "center-right" country.  Well, what does that mean, exactly, when the voters elect a purported marxist-socialist-black supremacist twice?  It's the kind of cognitive dissonance that allows people to call Romney and Bush Jr. "liberals".

Not sure about you, but I don't really care for being so blithely pigeon-holed, especially by someone who feigns "moderation" merely by dint of his screenname.

The fillibuster rule should be changed back to what it was. If a senator wants to fillibuster then let him or her stand in front of the senate, babble for hours and let the world see them do it. This secret fillibuster garbage is dishonest.

Agreed.  unfortunately, that's not the change Reid is contemplating.
