Really, tee partee protesters...?! I mean, really...?!?
The lack of dissonance required for one to do that is really beyond the pale (no pun intended).
It's one thing for some southerners/states to fly the flag as a matter of heritage and remembrance for America's bloodiest war, i.e., the "lost cause", etc.
But to do so at a White House protest belies not only common courtesy, but symbolic courtesy as well.
These people really hate this man that much. For them, it's personal...not even political...at this point.
And they're hemorrhaging reasonable people with every passing day.
We'll leave aside for a moment the shameful heckling of white house guards, who are still just trying to do their jobs and keep people off of the fences.
Apparently you've forgotten how much people HATED Bush...it was personal for them too.
Those who hated Bush hated his politics. Whether during elections or during his preseidency there was no tossing out racial slurs, religious slurs, sexual orientation slurs, birth certificate claims, claims of wanting to destroy America, etc. No. None. All that was siad against Bush was that he was not up to the office and he and his cronies were willing to do some very bad things.
Your self imposed blindness to the differences show how you are not willing to use the same standards across the board. It also shows your own willing blindness, if not complicity, to the raciual, religious, sexual orientation bigotry.
Not small differences. Not significant differences. This is completely different.
Whatever you say. You better get your eyes checked, or maybe you have convenient memory loss, very common amongst progressives...most of whom wanted Bush and Cheney arrested and put to trial for "crimes against humanity"
there was a Bush assassination movie, Bush assassination play....
Michael Moore claimed that President Bush launched the war against the Taliban in Afghanistan to help energy companies who planned to build a gas pipeline and he deliberately arranged to let Osama Bin Laden escape from the Tora Bora mountains in November 2001.
