    Fun with Numbers...featuring Scott Brown

That Scott Brown...he's so silly. In his desperation to be living back in the 20001 area code, Brown is inviting Vermont residents to come on over to NH , take advantage of same day voter registration and well...vote for Scott Brown.  This was Brown's response to a question on the Howie Carr Show when a caller from area code 860 asked why he should vote for Scott Brown. Carr thought 860 was Vermont ( it's CT) but that didn't stop Brown from inviting the caller to commit voter fraud rather than well...answering the original question.

I listened to the recording, hoping to discover that Brown was joking..but as always the disdain for people comes through loud and clear with Brown. Apparently, he even feels disdain for NH's same day voter registration.

It's especially ironic that the guy who is an outsider in NH..is inviting outsiders to NH. Make that 2 states that Scott Brown is completely out of touch with.

My only question is this...if Scott Brown loses in NH...what state will be move to next in his quest to be back in 20001 ?

How about New York state? Maybe he could find some Jewish ancestry like Hillary did...

By the Democrats standard talking points , miscricket is engaging in "voter intimidation" and "vote suppression". How dare she raise the false idea that 'voter fraud' ever occurs!  How dare she imply that someone voting in New Hampshire must "prove" they arent a resident of Vermont ....is she,  gulp, suggesting there must be a requirement for a voter to show an ID?

    RACIST!

Also, it's not exactly news that Brown could say something stupid.

Being on a show with Howie Carr, Scott Brown was no doubt joking ..but in the heat of a political campaign, attempts at satire and humor can backfire....

CLC, if voter fraud is rampant, why did the Bush DOJ spend 4 years looking into it and only came up with about 80 cases of technically invalid votes?

If Republicans just want to avoid voter fraud, then why did Wisconsin shut down places where one gets an ID and restrict others' hours in Democrat-heavy areas, but extend hours in Republican-heavy areas, following passage of the voter ID law?

Don't worry. Those were rhetorical questions. I don't expect any direct answers. Just a newsbusters link to some random D accused of doing something bad, without the impenetrable cloak of innocence you always give to Rs....

Brown is what we would call a centrist Democrat a few years ago.

don't have any use for him, except if he beats a Democrat, because these days, all democrats are radical socialists in their actions.

That's only in regards to explaining myself. I believe you didn't need explaining on this correct? : )

Plus, I didn't say anything that wasn't true. You DO bring it up OFTEN. Fair is fair is it not?

At least the wedding cake line, which I bring up as often as I can, makes a point.

As far as Kenya, well, no, it is not Socialist.  In fact, it is the opposite of socialism, it is a free market system with little government interference.

Kenya is currently growing at about four times the rate of Obama's socialist-flavored American economy.

    take that, Obama worshipper WhatNow.

Of course, as you both well know, the Kenya reference is merely a shorthand way of saying that your position was as stupid as the birthers'.

The 860 commenter most likely had a cell phone and those numbers are portable and people tend to keep them. My cell number is out of state because I've had it since the early 90's.

The whole point is that this was a laughing joke segment and BDC should be embarrassed for trying to make it sound like a serious story.

    46&2

Brown surged forward this summer and is now tied with Shaheen.

Brown has been out everyday meeting voters throughout the state while "Where's Waldo Shaheen" has been in hiding.

I think Brown is going to make history, unless he gets taken out with a low turnout primary.
