    Good-Bye, Michelle Bachman

At first glance, the idea that Michelle Bachman is mentally ill seems to make sense, however it does not explain the people that return her to office for term after term. Nor does it explain that she was among the front runners for the Republican presidential nomination.  Nor does it explain how such a person makes it onto the Congressional Intelligence Committee.

The bottom line is that there is something much more seriously wrong here than the mental illness of a single woman.  The electability of people such as Ms. Bachman tells us a lot about the backbone of the current Republican party.

Now, if we could just get all the rest of them to quit we'd be in pretty good shape.

Well...we could actually. If enough people cared enough to push for term limits..and then hold politicians accountable then it could happen.

If enough people felt strongly enough about limiting the amount of time someone spends in office..you wouldn't even need term limit legislation. The majority could just vote out the incumbent after one or two terms.

I never vote for anyone who has had more than two terms in office..ever.

Proposal: Every eight years everyone in the entire government turns in their keys and is replaced by someone else who's never been in government before.

    I like that.
