Re: GOP Latino outreach attempt of the day.

First...Who? Never heard of this "famed" conservative activist.

Second...when did the GOP include activists?

    Republican Party

    Chairman - Reince Priebus (WI)

Senate Leader - Mitch McConnell (Minority Leader) (KY), John Cornyn (Minority Whip) (TX)

House Leader - John Boehner (Speaker) (OH), Eric Cantor (Majority Leader) (VA), Kevin                                  McCarthy (Majority Whip) (CA)

Chair of Governors Assoc - Bobby Jindal (LA)

Hmmmm....no mention of Schlafly. Wait she must be a congresswoman or senator then right....oh wait nope...not a congresswoman or senator either. So I guess she isn't part of the GOP then. Wait....did Airborne go and generalize again....oh he's a pesky one ain't he???

"Could you please highlight the portion of his copy/paste and or title that you consider "outrage"?"

This WDYWN has issue with. Not the fact that Airborne is making yet another generalization by incorrectly lumping Schlafly with the GOP. No, no....it's the comment about "outrage" that has his panties in a bunch. Got it....

Schlafly is about as relevant as  Gore VIdal.

Read what is in the OP. The only thing she said that is possibly offensive is that "they" don't understand the Bill of Rights or limited government at all based up on where they come from.

The rest of it is more or less accurate whether you like it or not. Of course what does "reach out" really mean? It means "where are the handouts?"

The Republican problem with Latinos is the same as with everyone else. Why vote for the fake libruls when you can vote for the real ones?

The Republicans have been marching arm in arm with the Democrats on amnesty since Reagan bailed the first lot out in the 80s.

Since then has their support of amnesty (or whatever you want to call it) gotten them anywhere with Latinos? No. The % of Latino vote to Republicans has been going down ever since Reagan messed up. So obviously it is something else that is causing the Latino vote to go Democrat. Could it be the promise of benefits and big government? Hmmm....

Ya, it couldn't be the “they’re running an illegitimacy rate that’s just about the same as the blacks are.”

Because, as everyone knows, what's a better predictor of political persuasion than "illegitimacy rate".

Especially in the neo-con bible belt like Alabama where the "illegitimacy rate" for Non-Hispanic whites is actually HIGHER than for Hispanics.

    Alabama   White     Black    Hispanic

                      27.7      75.4         27.1

    http://www.cdc.gov/

But why quibble over facts when you have a xenophobia to feed.... am I right?

I wonder why the neo-cons don't write-off all those "illegitimate" baby makers in the south?

Concerned Citizen ia a virulent racist..he viciously depises white Southerners.

Overall, the out of wedlock rate nationally is:

72.3 percent of non-Hispanic blacks are now born out-of-wedlock; 66.2 percent of American Indians/Alaska Natives; 53.3 percent of Hispanics; 29.1 percent of non-Hispanic whites.

Early in the 20th century, the black illegitimacy rate was lower than whites. Then guilty white liberals got the government to work its magic and voila! Since the 60s, they ruined the black family with idiotic paternalistic ruinous welfare policies.

Do you consider this a problem, concerned citizen? Or like anything else, it is just an excuse  for you to hatefully rant about  "hypocrisy"?

Hey, something the Republicans ought to consider:  The democrats will STILL outspend the Republicans in buying votes, particularly within the hispanic community.

    The Republicans are idiots.

The libruls are fine destroying families every day with their misguided programs. As long as they get votes, that is all they care about.

Why do they have signs at parks "Do not feed the animals"?

She must have some relevance seeing as how she keeps popping up for interviews on radio and TV and her group the Eagle Forum boasts a membership of 80,000 people.  That said, the perception of her relevance is harmful to the GOP considering she is quite extreme in some of her views and is someone people point to as proof that the GOP is institutionally and systemically intolerant.

So, if we have to own Schlafly will you own uber-liberal Alec Baldwin and his homophobic rants?
