I think I will be a Syrian Rebel

Obama requests 500 million from Congress to give to the Syrian Rebels.  I hope they say no but isn't this what John McCain wanted from day one?  Now that Obama wants it, McCain will say NO.

ok, it has been a busy day so I did not think of this angle.  John McCain wanted aid to this area, now he has his chance,

I am sure Obama has an iron-clad guarantee from the Syrian rebels (ISIS?) that the weapons will only be used against Assad's forces in Syria. Really, how could they possibly risk giving arms to the Syrian rebels without their promise not to use the arms against the Iraqi government or the US forces that are there? Only Obama is good enough to get them to  make that promise.

Not all Syrian Rebels are the same.  But McCain seemed willing to give weapons to any Syrian going against Assad.

Just curious, but why do we hate Assad?  Is it because he's friends with Iran?

To be fair to John McCain, he is willing to give weapons to anyone going against Obama.

Couldn't agree more ... when wingnut orthodoxy is read outloud, it sounds dumb even to wingnuts.... so maybe ya'll should 'think' before adopting bumper sticker slogans and empty rhetorical phrases from the echo chamber websites.

Now that we've left we might as well just stay out until we absolutely have to go back in. And hopefully that will never happen.

    Sucks for the Iraqis though.
