Care to guess what happens to Mitt in the polls when Sheldon Adelson is found to be the funder of Sam Bacile's film?

    I didn't think of that.  That'll leave a mark.

Mitt won't recover from this.  The undecideds were looking for a reason not to vote for either candidate and Romney gave them one.

Not bad, Mittens is ahead in ONE poll by ONE point.

Wingnuts will grasp at any straws that float by their sinking ship.

This crisis in the middle east and africa is Obama's and all Obama's; he cant blame romney or bush or republicans. He must own it and yet he is trying to (like everything else negative the last 4 years) sweep it under the rug.

We need accountability and leadership not a good times only prez!!

See the jobless claims #'s this morning?  They jumped up, then the story was buried by the mid-East mess.

Obama is loving this mess, so is Rahm Emanuel, taking all the heat of the real issues at home.

Mitt is up by one percent in one poll. If what the righties are saying about Obama is true, then Mitt should be up by double digits.

Right now they are sending in more Marines to protect the embassy. They should have been sent in a long time ago. The attackers showed up with rockets, etc. It was a pre-meditated. planned attack. If we can invade the country to protect Liyans from Libyans, you would think we could manage to send in a few Marines to protect Americans from Libyans.

Secondly, the Obama Administration continually scolds Americans for exercising their right to free speech. Look at the statements that came out of the State Department. They are all about how disgraceful we are for hurting the feelings of muslims about their religion. Nothing at all about how dysfunctional and dispicable their behavior is in reaction to a spoken word or a movie. This just shows weakness to the extremists. They know they can attack us with impunity. Obama is just setting up the excuse for the next attack.

And this is from a President who calls some of his political opponents "bitter clingers" for thier attachement to the Bible and guns.

What else could he have done? He could have withdrawn the embassy personnel and let the Libyans settle their own problems instead of invading the country for the sake of the Europeans who lost a source of oil.

    [/QUOTE]

We didn't "invade" Libya.  We gave military support to a revolutionary force that overthrew a corrupt dictatorship.  We have a lot less control of this situation than you make out.  It is a society that is close to anarchy and it appears that an organized force took advantage of the situation to make a terrorist attack.  More marines?  In how many different places?  And even then there are no guarantees.

And the Obama administration DID NOT issue the plea for tolerance of religion, that came from the embassy as they tried to defuse a potential conflict before it started.  And realy, is a plea for tolerance and respect such a bad thing?
