    Re: Library Dedication for W

I have always thought that 'W' loves the USA and that he really does care about the people here, even the little people.  He obviously was at the helm during one of the worst tragedies in US history with 9/11 and that was no doubt a tough thing to deal with.  None of that excuses his assault on freedom and decision to launch into what is not a 10 year war of retaliation.  I do think he displays some degree of class as was pointed out.  For example, he doesn't really talk to the media at all about his thoughts on the state of the country.  He doesn't take shots at Obama and he doesn't make comments that undermine Obama.  In a way I feel bad for 'W' because he had some tough ch!t to deal with, but I can't completely ignore bad policies, the Patriot Act, and the fact that we are still losing lives (and killing innocent civilian bystanders in Iraq and Afghanistan).

Thinking about that gathering did put a song in my head though...

He's popular now because everyone is relieved he isn't anywhere near the oval office.

And the fact that it took you 6 years to figure that out and STILL blame him, speaks really well for your side - No - Really!

I don't have a 'side' but I do lean left on most issues.

And most of the country still holds Bush responsible for the hole the economy fell into.

According to every poll Americans by far recognizes Bush as the culprit.

    Fox:  Bush 51%  Obama 31%

    Gallup: Bush 68%  Obama 50%

    CNN: Bush 68%  Obama 52%

If those are 'sides' then the GOP is in a world of hurt.

Never mind, we saw your math prowess as we spoke of GDP.

Trend: How Much Are George W. Bush and Barack Obama to Blame for U.S. Economy?

You didn`t present it like that in your post.  You said  "Obama 68 Bush 52" which could never happen as I`m sure even YOU know, 68 and 52 doesn`t equal 100.  If you showed the graph you would have spared yourself from the math cracks.

So, to anwser your question, you were being "idiotic" and it really was kind of "funny".

    I'm afraid to ask but....

    What does the graph change?

68% and 52% is still greater than 100.

    You posted it like this:

    Gallup: Bush 68%  Obama 50%

    CNN: Bush 68%  Obama 52%

You are joking right?  You don`t see the error?

Look, I'm an Obama suporter. I'd vote for him again if I could. But I'm having a hard time figuring out the math involved above.

The number of conspiracy pages about 9/11 doesn't prove that 9/11 was a conspiracy.

Is that what you call 'fact'? The sheer number of people repeating the same stupid slogans as you?

Anyone who thinks Obama got re-elected simply because "dumb people voted for free stuff" is a liar or a fool (or both). That simple, really. Sorry guy.

Didn`t say "fact", simply said there is plenty of supporting data.  Doesn`t seem to be too much about Romney or even McCain for that matter.  Of course there`s all kinds of crud about "Bush voters".  None of that means much as we find ourselves back to the thread topic at last.

Bush is a genius compared to Obama and Obama voters are ill informed and came out in droves to keep free stuff coming.  There is plenty of data to back that up.

Gee, I can`t find ill informed dumb people that voted for Romney.  Maybe you could and provide?

In fact, I just did a simple Google search of "stupid romney voters" which yielded 28,700,000 results. "Stupid Obama voters" yielded a mere  8,640,00 results.

    There is no 'math' involved.

The question is not an either/or, it is not mutually exclusive.

If you read the question and look at the data used for the graph then you see that people could respond with multiple answers.

The question was asked twice of each respondent with the name interchanged each time.

"... how much do you blame Bush?"

"...how much do you blame Obama?"

People could answer that they blame one, the other, both equally or neither.

If the question was an either/or, (one or the other) then it would have total less than 100%. But that is not the case the way the question was presented.

OK. I think. But it's misleading, that's all.

Just read this thread; hilarious. If W is a genius compared to Obama.  I guess that explains

    1. Going from a record BLACK Budget surplus to a record RED deficit; largely thanks to excessive tax breaks & the Iraq War

    2. Starting a war with IRAQ based on WMDs. A few offshoots:

2.1 The Valerie Plame incident, initiated by Cheney to punish her & spouse for claiming there was no uranium cake from Niger; impact: A multi-trillion dollar international compromise on the tracking of nuclear weapons proliferation, which was censored here; but they're pretty p-ssed overseas.

2.2 Unprecedented illegal WAR profiteering, the real reason for the IRAQ WAR; to whit; during WWII, an ESSENTIAL War, FDR threw a bunch of his buddies in jail for WAR profiteering. IRAQ was much worse. How many companies were disciplined for WAR profiteering in the IRAQ WAR? NONE!

    2.3 Abu Ghraib

    3. If Obama supporters are stupid, then so must be heads of State throughout the world, who generally speaking respect Obama and think Bush is a moron. To whit: Recall the EU Summits attended by Bush.

    4. GITMO

    5. The Alberto Gonzalez Justice Dep't scandal.

    6. Katrina - You're doing a heckuva job Brownie.

    7. The 2008 Financial Collapse - without it, McCain would have won. Who knows how low the DOW would have gone if he did.

    8. 9/11 - Actually, he likely gets a pass here; if Congress wasn't so obssessed with attempting to impeach Clinton over a cigar, maybe they would have heeded the CIA warnings.

    9. No raise in the Minimum Wage

    10. Kenny Boy - Smartly, he distanced himself from him; partly as the result of SEC deregulation, there were other major financial scandals as well.

    11. Suppression of stem cell & climate research

    12. And who can forget slandering Kerry's purple hearts, while the top 2 in the WH were draft dodgers?

To his credit, he realized Cheney was playing him during the 2nd term, and subsequently basically told him to get lost, starting with his refusal to pardon defendants in the Gonzalez scandal . Nevertheless, according to an exhaustive pooled survey of presidential rankings, he is ranked 35th (Out of 43), while Obama is ranked 14th.

This shall include the tough task of standing up to the related well heeled spheres of influence, and the fringe. In addition, they need to have wingnuts such as Perry, Aiken, Sourdock and lately a bunch more to keep their ignorant mouths shut.

Your post is LOL funny!  Nice swing and miss.  Everything you cite about Iraq is WRONG!  Everything.  You should try and learn how the government works and who voted for the war.  Save yourself some time.  It was all the Democrats.

The heads of state throughout the world have ZERO respect for Obama and it`s well known. He`s a joke!  Travel abroad and you will feel like a fool and be laughed at.  Bowing to the Chinese, Arab spring, he`s the joke of Europe and viewed as a used car salesman. They all know he`s a pushover.

    Gitmo.........still open, no changes

    Katrina...........vs the gulf oil spill and Obama`s incomptence?  A Y F K M?

2008 collapse?   Dems in control since 2006.  Barney Frank?  Again, AYFKM?

Lastly, Kerry`s purple hearts.........BWAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! I`m wondering how many soldiers reported for duty with a video camera team to record their lies, fake injuries, and liveshots?

    Go back to your dreamland.

Yes, Barney Frank contributed to the 2008 Collapse; thanks for the correction. And yes, Obama's taken criticism for keeping GITMO Open, a broken promise. And agreed, Obama's Gulf Oil Spill response was too measured; however, like Barney Frank, recall the DRILL BABY DRILL mantra of the Repubs; and some Repubs felt he still acted too rash. There are other policy failures too: such as Benghazi, Fast & Furious & the FBI's mishandling of the Tsarnaev Bros. (Of course, Bush doesn't get a complete pass on 9/11 either). Nobody's perfect. Otherwise, your retorts are laughable made up gibberish replete with school yard banter.

    .

Good luck waiting for a Republican President.
