Wasn't Wilson found guilty in the first trial which was overturned on a technicality and had a hung jury in the second trial?  And ultimately, he pled guilty to invluntary manslaughter?  Kind of interesting that Wilson was able to reach into his pocket to pull out the pocket knife and extend the blade as he was being kicked.  Either he has amazing physical self control or wasn't being kicked that hard.

And didn't the republican candidate for Governor complain about Cahill use of Treasury fund for advertising?

Cahill was indicted by a grand jury. Did Coakley have a choice? The e-mails from Cahill to Meldrum are probably what clinched the deal.

The complaint was filed by the GOP candidate- Baker. I think there's a reason so many Cahill advisors jumped ship.

By the way, when's the last time anyone saw a lottery ad?

The Cahill trial is a sideshow and a fiasco. Under the same principle she can indict Deval Patrick for putting his name on the border signs "Welcome to Massachusetts"...

Coakley  is a worthless political hack-ette, a female Good Old Boy, winking and nodding at  plenty of other real corruption in her own Party.  Her total lack of principles wins points with her fellow treasury-looting thieves of the Massachusetts Democratic Party.

Who do you think assembles the grand jury?  Martha had her prints all over this.  Cahill's co-defendant was found not guilty today.  Most likely Cahill will have a mistrial.

And what was Coakley to do when the claim was made my the state Republican Party - ignore it? They launched an investigation and assembled a grand jury. The grand jury felt there was enough evidence to proceed.  Regardless of how the trial turns out, our justice system should not be making choices based on cost but based on evidence. I for one would like to know if Cahill took advantage under the new law.

Mistrial was declared. Apears that the jury couldn't figure out who Cahill conspired with. Also apears that they believe he conspired with someone.

Who did he consipre with?  Hmm.  That's a tough one.  MAybe ask the question:  Who would benefit from him being in the race.
