If honesty was the directive and the hcr bill sponsors would have told the American people:

You will still pay more just not as much more than if, we dont do it.

A lot of people will lose their current plans because some business will cut hours and reduce full time employees

we will issue thousands of exemptions to unions and other companies at our discretion

elected politicians will in no way put themselves in this program

we will cut 500 billion from medicare

we will implement it in a way that even the sponsors will be saying it's a f-in train wreck!

The IRS will police the program

we will fine you if, you do not fall in line nwith what we say is best for you

Do you think it would have passed???

Patience, good things come to those who wait.

Health insurers are expected to give rebates of more than $1 billion to consumers and employers this year, under a provision of the federal health overhaul that forces them to offer refunds if they don't spend enough of the premium dollars they take in on health care.

Patience, free bribes, er, "rebates", come to those who kowtow to the Nanny State....
Average rebate $127, a cheap price for selling your freedom. The money no doubt will come with a voter registration card and free Obamaphone attached...
