“The final shot was in the forehead, and then he fell about two or three feet in front of the officer.”

And amazingly that final shot didn't even make a hole in his forehead.

There's plenty of conflicting stories ... but one thing that doesn't seem to jibe with the officers account is that he says he was attacked in his car ... yet in every photo of the crime scene there isn't a police car within 50ft of the body.

Re: More Than a Dozen Witnesses Have Corroborated Officer Wilson’s Version of Ferguson Shooting.

How does this happen?  Was the cop incompetent?  Did he think that because he had a gun and a badge everyone would just kowtow to him?  This was an encounter initiated by the cop.  If he wasn't physically able to handle Brown without pulling his gun and shooting him, why initiate the confrontation?  The dude was was walking down the street.

there are some great cops out there.  But there are a lot of jerks with badges who think the badge allows them to act in whatever manner they want.  I had an encounter with a cop in Waltham - he was extremely abusive.  There was no reason for it.  And it served only to get my blood up.

anyone see the video of the 2 St. Louis cops executing the black guy for stealing sodas and a donut.  Right before the cops arrived, a couple people walk past the victim, demonstrating he wasn't dangerous.  2 cops unload on the guy, killing him.  The cops then lied about what happened saying the victim came at them with a knife held over his head.  The incident was in broad daylight and the video is clear.  It does not corroborate what the cops said.  It happened just a few blocks from where Brown was killed.  2 white cops responding to a call in a black neighborhood.  It's like they aren't even trying.

How come all these blacks getting killed are always reaching for someone else's gun?  How come these thugs are never carrying a gun?

That part has been corroborated by everyone. I think where you might be confused is that the altercation moved away from the car.

if your insinuation is that the cop landed six rounds from fifty feet, that's pretty accurate shooting for someone with head trauma and likely at least one non functional eye.

I dunno...why was there an unarmed (according to all reports so far) white kid shot by a "not white" officer (that is how the local media referred to the black officer who shot the white kid) in Utah the other day and it hasn't made national news? Why hasn't Rev Al visited Utah over this? Why are there no riots and looting?

Prolly cause there isn't well documented evidence of constant and consistent racial profiling of whites by an overwhelmingly 'non-white' police force in Salt Lake city.

Prolly because the officer was responding to a 911 call of a "man waving a gun".

Prolly because the cop was wearing a body-cam and the entire incident was captured on video which will provide unbiased evidence of what happened.

Glad I could help explain the obvious ... that a 911 call of a 'man waving a gun' is decidely not the same as a random stop of a teenager ... and that having unbiased video evidence keeps everyone honest.

Funny how you conveniently skipped over the 'constant and consistent racial profiling' point.

    Seriously?

Ya, I guess a criminal wouldn't think to hide a gun when they hear the sirens coming.

I guess that just because cop didn't see a gun in plain sight ... that's proof enough that the guy doesn't have a gun ... the cop should've just turned around right there and left ... heck the cop didn't even need to get out of his car.

    Ummmm okay ... sure thing.

Prolly cause there isn't documented evidence of constant and consistent racial profiling of whites by the police in Salt Lake city.

Prolly because the officer was responding to a 911 call of a "man waving a gun".

Prolly because the cop was wearing a body-cam and the entire incident was captured on video which will provide unbiased evidence of what happened.

Oh...so because there was a call of an alleged "man waving a gun" he deserved to get shot? And because he wore a cam that makes it ok to shoot someone dead? Gotcha....thanks for the clarification.....idiot

Glad I could help explain the obvious ... that a 911 call of a 'man waving a gun' is decidely not the same as a random stop of a teenager ... and that having unbiased video evidence keeps everyone honest.

Except that by all reports so far he was unarmed. So it doesn't matter what the call was for. When you get to the scene and see no gun I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to shoot.

Funny how you conveniently skipped over the 'constant and consistent racial profiling' point.

Didn't skip over it. That is still no excuse for a "non-white" to shoot an unarmed white kid.

Clearly since they "didn't know if he had a gun" it wasn't in his hand being waved around right? You can at least admit that I would hope. Therefore no gun being waved at the cops warrants no shots being fired. Why is this so hard for you to understand? Do you think any and all persons SUSPECTED of possibly having a gun on them, of which is not in plain sight, should just be shot?

Do you think that any person suspected of having a gun on them could make a sudden move consistent with drawing a gun to shoot ... and in that split second draw fire from a cop?

A cop who; a) Has been dispatched to a report of a man with a gun, b) Has identified a suspect matching the description of the man, c) When the cop approaches the suspect, he makes a sudden move consistent with drawing a weapon.

And it's all caught on video ... so there is an unbiased witness to it all.

    Stop asking such inane questions.

Even the guy's cousin, who was present when this happened, admits that his cousin made a move that would be consistent with, or mistaken for, drawing a weapon.

So despite your dumb attempt to conflate this with the Ferguson shooting they are not even remotely similar.

Dillon Taylor, 20, who is from Salt Lake, was exiting 7-Eleven with his brother and cousin, Adam Thayne, around 7 p.m. on Monday, when Salt Lake City police arrived, responding to a report of a man waving a gun in the area.

The officers ordered the men to the ground. Two of them complied, but Dillon, who police say matched the suspect's description, did not go down.

"It came in as a 911 call that there was a man with a gun," said South Salt Lake Police Sgt. Darrin Sweeten. "He was verbally challenged and ultimately was shot."

Dillon's brother and cousin claim they were on their way to visit his parents' graves and that Dillon was surprised by the police presence. He was not aggressive, they said.

"He had headphones in, and he couldn't hear [anything], and then they finally surrounded him," Jerrail said. "They're like, 'Get on the ground,' and [he] pulled up his pants and [they] shot him."

Thayne believes police might have thought his cousin was reaching for a gun when, in reality, he grabbed his cell phone.

"I was in shock, because he was wearing a white t-shirt and there was blood all over it," Thayne said. "They ran up and handcuffed him. He wasn't moving."

A witness's video shows police yelling for the two men to remain on the ground as Thayne repeatedly screams that they have shot his cousin.

The two men were taken to the police station, but released hours later without being charged or cited.

Anyone answered that with a "yes" would be insane. I don't think high-road is insane....

But I don't see what the question has to do with the case being discussed, seeing as the circumstances in that case appear to be completely different.
