Mr. Romney's campaign hits complete, abjectly hopeless, rock bottom -- right on schedule

Polls, even the right's pet ones, have shown the president leading outside a statistical deviation for weeks.

Great wailing, handwringing, self-flagellation, forehead-smacking is abroad in the land.

Campaign is in disarray.  Don't let Mr. Romney out.  Need to let Mr. Romney be himself.  He's too moderate.  He's not moderate enough.  He got caught fomenting class warfare.  Time to fire the staff (at least the waitstaff...)?  Top (including right wing) pundits, strategists, unnamed experts and other "sources", even the Murdoch&Ailes and EIB network sales forces say it's awful. (OK, everyone but Gov. Christie.)

Strategists:  All according to plan.  The whole media, in whose common interest is "a dead heat", following their business model, allies with us, will leverage us at least until it's "neck and neck" again.  The debate will be a "tie" (of course).  But we'll leverage that.

The narrative becomes: "The Comeback Kid, the turnaround expert who can be The Comeback Kid with the economy and Libya and Syria and Egypt and Iran and... and... Look, the bandwagon is gathering steam!" Baked into the plan.

Merely lowballing debate performance would be blatant and weak.

Well, Romney has no one to blame but himself.  He controls his own message, and to date, it has been weak and ineffectual.  Never wanted him to win the primaries.

However, even in this listless state, is is far superior to Obama, who demonstrably is killing off our economy, has destroyed the image of America in the world, particulalry the Middle East, and is incapable of understanding what it takes to be President.

Romney still gets my vote, and all the takers will vote for Obama, thereby accelerating the demise of a once great country.

Yet Romney wants to take us back to the very same policies that led us to the recession in the first place.

    Well, no, that's not true.

What he wants to do is undo the four years of job killing, middle class killing, foriegn policy killing, that we call the Obama administration.

Just when will you Obama supporters admit Obama has completely ruined this country?

You don't beleive me?  As Joe Biden.  According to him, the middle class has been completely hammered for the last four years.

So, how's Mr. Romney going to do that with the same team -- that pledged allegiance to him back in November '11, even before most of the primaries?

    "Scorrre!"

But at this juncture, it is interesting to see how desperate Mr. Romney's candidacy was, and his supporters don't even have to explicitly say so.  ...All part of one narrative.

And now the tables are turned.

The question at this point is, which candidacy's comeback is timed right?

    Nice spin.

Obama looked like the lying fool he is.

He can't win when his lies are questioned which the main stream media will not do.

Romney made him look like a fool.

All Romney supporters are sleeping well, um, except those too happy to sleep.

    Romney was Presidential, period.

    Get use to it.
