Can't even imagine the warmth and feeling of unity at the commencement for Northeastern in Boston tonight.   Could not have asked for a more beautiful day, too.

A "Summa" is an accomplishment like no other (WOW) -- a unique and gorgeous diploma your daughter truly earned.  You're a lucky dude, er, I mean Dad.   Best wishes to the graduate.

Congratulations Greg..! That is tremendous news and a tremendous accomplishment! You should be proud :-) I have a feeling your daughter is going to be someone who changes the world.

I have been under a certain amount of pressure from a professor at NU to pursue my Master's at NorthEastern..but I am undecided. Even with scholarship offers the money is insane. My hat is off to you in that aspect also !

Re: Northeastern University Commencement (and one proud papa)

    In response to GreginMeffa's comment:

Wow.  The Garden was packed to the rafters.  Key note speaker Jim Yong Kim, head of the World Bank, former president of Dartmouth, creator on an international BioPharma, that has treated 3 MILLION AIDS victims, is among the most brilliant and damned funny minds I have ever witnessed.  Watch this guy.  Governor Patrick presented an honary doctorate to Ed Davis, BPD Commisioner, in the name of all first responders at the Marathon attack.  The standing O was thunderous.  With 2500 graduates, I assumed this would be an incredible bore.  Anything but.  It was amazing.

Among those 2500 was my daughter, who received her BS with a double major in Psychology and Education - Summa Cu Laude, and had more cords around her neck than any student I saw (I think its 5, maybe 6).

    One down, two to go.

Congrats to you and your daughter.  Glad to see NU in gear and graduate around the time most schools do.  We graduated in june and that was the only draw back from attending NU. We were in the old garden with no ac, and it was hot that day.
