In response to airborne-rgr's comment:
President Obama urged Congress on Tuesday to pass a measure to delay for the rest of the year a series of automatic cuts to defense and other spending that is to take effect March 1 .
Obama favors replacing the sequester with a combination of spending cuts in automatic programs like Medicare and new tax revenue, raised by scaling back tax breaks that benefit the wealthy and select industries, such as energy firms.
What's that you say? CLC lied?
Well I never

Pathetic dissembling...What deal?
So Boehner was lying to make Obama look good when he mentioned the 4.5 trillion deal?

That is a gauzy media report as to what Obama says he wants...is there a specific proposal out there? Nope, of course not.
What are the specifics ? There arent any.
'Spending cuts'...Dems talk about them, but of course 'cuts' only mean lowering the massive increases already in the oven....but even then, they always pull them back at the last minute...
Rand Paul and those who voted against the sequester as being too small..are the only politicians looking good at the moment.

Back when Republicans held the White House, no doubt you were daily denigrating the intelligence of the average voter...now spiking the football is your argument?

In response to airborne-rgr's comment:
the American Family Economic Protection Act, pinpoints $120 billion of savings, split evenly between cuts and revenues
Yeah but revenue isn't on the table so obviously it will be Obama's fault if the sequester happens.
