Obama is lucky election is next year....

This buffoon really leads a charmed life.  In 2008 a perfect storm of events allows a Chicago thug with zero accomplishments in life to be elected president, and now conditions are at their worst and have no where to go but up next year, and the deceitful obama will take all the credit and may get re-elected.

If the election was this year this strange shrunken spectator who serves as President of the United States would win all of two states.

The next few weeks could be the defining moment for the President's re-election chances.  Moody's credit rating concerns has increased the importance of a debt solution.  Even if he pulls of the big deal which I hope he does, he most likley will be attacked by an unhappy group of progressives who may mount a Teddy Kennedy like challenge.

Obama could very well win the debt battle but lose the general election.

So even the liberal sheep 12-Angry admits Obama is a failure and that four more years of Obama will be even worse. Funny stuff!

He is out raising all GOP contenders by a very large margin with 98% of the donations under 250 bucks this last quarter. That beats any poll or whine the right can try.

You answer lack of accomplishment and failure os leadership with raising campaign money.

This is a really funny thread.  I guess you are forgetting that bush invaded the wrong country, and we were losing over 700,000 thousand jobs per month under him.

We were near a depression under Bush, and most people in the finance business, predicted several years to see and progress.

I was all set to keep my GOP voting record in tact, but then McCain became a birther, and we all know how that turned out.

What excuse will you come up when Obama is once again elected?

It's the Messiah that is the master of excuses. HE will be tested to the max soon enough on the subject of excuses or maybe the last congressional election was a fluke.

American voters don't need excuses... maybe the truth on occasion would be nice.

Cantor sounds a lot like Pelosi.

President Obama's supporters have been strongly supporting him with cash, but that was before he recently put entitlements on the table and the Progressive Caucus told him over their dead bodies.

What happens before August 2nd could set the political fortunes for 2012.  If Obama pulls off the big deal he'll be looking good, if he doesn't he is at risk with independents who expect him lead Congress to the centrist position.  If it fails and why will also be the story; no one wants to be blamed for making this happen which is why their could be a last minute big deal.

    Now THAT'S FUNNY!!!!!!!

So you rely on Rasmussen polls which has been proven to be the worst polling in predicting elections. In some cases they were off by 40 points.

On Tuesday, polls conducted by the firm Rasmussen Reports — which released more than 100 surveys in the final three weeks of the campaign, including some commissioned under a subsidiary on behalf of Fox News — badly missed the margin in many states, and also exhibited a considerable bias toward Republican candidates.

The 105 polls released in Senate and gubernatorial races by Rasmussen Reports and its subsidiary, Pulse Opinion Research, missed the final margin between the candidates by 5.8 points, a considerably higher figure than that achieved by most other pollsters. Some 13 of its polls missed by 10 or more points, including one in the Hawaii Senate race that missed the final margin between the candidates by 40 points, the largest error ever recorded in a general election in FiveThirtyEight’s database, which includes all polls conducted since 1998.
    http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/11/04/rasmussen-polls-were-biased-and-inaccurate-quinnipiac-surveyusa-performed-strongly/

Hey if you need to cherry pick some numbers to make yourself feel better, knock yourself out.
Adults however, look to mitigate any poll bias and average the leading polls for a more neutral perspective.

    RCP Average                   5/25 - 7/10 -- 43.8 42.3     Obama +1.5
    Rasmussen Reports           7/5 - 7/10   3500 LV      43 48 Republican +5
    NBC News/Wall St. Jrnl      6/9 - 6/13   RV             45 40 Obama      +5
    Gallup                             6/9 - 6/12   914 RV       39 44 Republican +5
    Pew Research                  5/25 - 5/30 1227 RV      48 37 Obama     +11

Most of the polling I see shows Obam leading any republican.  I also heard an interesting analysis that in Presidential elections, since 1960, the undecideds all break for the challenger.  This is key.  If this holds true, Obama is actually losing to all these democrats significantly.

However, I am absolutely dumbfounded that so many people still support Obama.  It bothers me that the numbers are so high.  Is his committed base ready to follow him over the cliff?

I equate her to that relative we all like but who tends to embarrass us at times.  If she wasn't a caricature of herself she wouldn't be a bad candidate.

There are things to like about her and things not to like, just like any other candidate.

I do find it interesting that so many take issue with her strong positions on what is losely referred to as "family values".  What's so bad about having a point of view that is positive?

Overall, not the candidate for me, however.
