Staying on topic was never your strength... or perhaps it's simply politically convenient.

    The question stands unanswered.

Plenty of people foaming at the mouth in Zimmerman's corner too.

Why assume only a verdict unfavorable to Martin's side would produce rioting?

I don't know, I see college kids rioting and breaking stuff all the time when sports teams win big games, examples include the Penn State riots when JoePa was fired, Maryland following thier national championship win, and Tennessee when Lane Kiffin resigned.  Look back at the photos and you will see a variety of faces and races.

The occupy wall street protestors had a rather large riot in Brooklyn and over 700 people were arrested, again, the demographic involved does not fit your racial theory.  Look at the various riots in Europe in Greece, Spain, and other recession torn countries and the same pattern plays out.

I am only endulging you on this just to point, off the top of my head, how absurd your comment is and how exists in a different realm than the reality most of us live in.

Because many community leaders have said "if, justice does not prevail for Tryvon then the streets will burn" or similar.

    That could be a clue!

It has less to do with race and more to do with the media playing race against race.

Zimmerman is  "white hispanic"??? wth is that?

To suggest that the "potential" unrest about something that hasn't happened yet says alot about your cognitive dysfunction.

    jed,

I did not get to see the first post but it sure was removed rather quickly.

The whole thread topic is quite unsettling. What is the point of starting such a thread?

(I do get this is a regular poster using another name and not denying the fact.)

It has to do with the OP being a racist.....

Damain did more than enough debunking of the claim that black people are a community more likely to riot than others.

    Agreed on both counts.

If the media classifies Zimmerman as a "white hispanic" would that make Obama a "white african American" or a "Black caucasian American"??

that was the NYT's no less

Ummm, it's the guidelines used by the US Census.

Traditional and current data collection and classification treat race and Hispanic origin as two separate and distinct concepts in accordance with guidelines from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).

This document provides U.S. Census Bureau guidance to the user community on how to handle the interpretation of race and Hispanic origin data.

    • Race and Hispanic origin are two separate concepts in the federal statistical system.
      • People who are Hispanic may be of any race.
      • People in each race group may be either Hispanic or Not Hispanic.
      • Each person has two attributes, their race (or races) and whether or not they are Hispanic.
    • Overlap of race and Hispanic origin is the main comparability issue.
      • For example, Black Hispanics (Hispanic Blacks) are included in both the number of Blacks and in the number of Hispanics.

I think there should be civil unrest because of The House gop removal of the Food Stamp Program from the Farm Bill .

Can't respect anyone who promotes civil unrest or violence.

Especially for a GIMME program for deadbeats.
