Re: Pro-Gun Event Seeks To Bring 10,000 People With Loaded Rifles To DC

Rightwing crazies? Some are out there, sadly..
As to leftwing terrorist bombers, the President started his political career in the living room of one of them, it is a fact.

Barack Obama’s violent Chicago domestic terrorist pal is still clinging to his bombs. Guilty as hell, free as a bird.

At Kent State this weekend, William Ayers defended the Weather Underground attacks, whitewashed the bloody consequences of his ideological zealotry, attacked the United States as the “most violent” country in the world, called John McCain a mass murderer, and glorified left-wing radicalism. Via the Akron Beacon Journal:

Ayers, a keynote speaker at Saturday’s annual May 4 commemoration of the National Guard shootings at Kent State in 1970 that left four students dead, spoke briefly after giving his talk before an estimated 350 people on the university’s Commons.

There is no relationship at all between what Weather Underground members did and the bombings that two brothers allegedly committed on April 15 in Massachusetts, Ayers said in response to a reporter’s question. No one died in the Weather Underground bombings.
    Lie.

In his talk to the crowd, Ayers mentioned that in 1970, he lost three friends in the Weather Underground, including his lover, Diana Oughton. He did not explain in his talk how they died – they were killed when nail bombs they were making in a Greenwich Village townhouse blew up.

Telling the crowd the circumstances of those deaths would have been “inappropriate,” Ayers said afterward. “Everybody here knows,” he said.

Authorities said the bombs were intended to be used at a dance at the Fort Dix Army base in New Jersey.

From Free Assata to Free Mumia to Free Jahar, the left’s police-bashing bloodlust is not just a sick joke. Their romanticizing of cold-blooded terrorism is a pathology.

I agree that this is stupid, but I wouldn't jump at the conclusion this guy is right wing.  He is also an anti-war protester, has flown the flag upside down, and apparently is a Ron Paul supporter.

He just might be hard to classify.

Its illegal to carry a loaded weapon in the streets of DC.  Break that law, and you are no longer a law abiding and responsible gun owner.

It won't be allowed to happen.  There will be an army waiting to arrest them.  An army that swore an oath to protect the country from foreign and domestic enemies.

Carrying a loaded rifle unless you're intending on shooting it is stupid. I think the vast majority of NRA members would agree.

That's a drop in the bucket compared to the arms already in DC and a couple drops compared to the arms in criminals hands even though DC has strict "gun control" laws.

The law abiding citizens who are restricted by the current "gun control" laws should appreciate 10,000 law abiding citizens showing up with arms.

Why should they appreciate them?  They are breaking the law and therefore jeopardizng all law abiding gun owner's rights.

How would they be jeopardizing all law abiding gun owners's right by breaking the law?

Are you jeopardizing all law abiding car owner's rights by breaking speeding laws? The answer would be no. Same for gun owners. The only people they would be jeopardizing are themselves if they decide to open carry in DC. They will be arrested and jailed and/or fined as they should be for breaking the law.

Why should they appreciate 10,000 people showing up with loaded guns for the point of simply having a lot of loaded guns in one place or time?

They aren't celebrating the right to bear arms. They're fetishizing it.

    [/QUOTE]

Do you really think 10,000 will show up with "loaded"guns?

    lol dont get hysterical

Why are there never accidental shootings at gun shows?

Because they are "responsible" gun owners.

You have a control fetish me thinks.

ANYONE who thinks 10,000 gun owners will show up with LOADED guns needs to find the reality of responsible gun owners and stop the stereotypical hysteria they have bought into.
