Egyptians exercising their inalienably democratic right to assembly and petition of their government. Impossible during the Mubarak regime.
It was the success of the first protests just 2 years ago that forced out Hosni that led the Egyptian people to understand that they can still control their own destiny.
Let's call it the "Arab Summer".
SecState Clinton made this point clearly the other day:
Democracy of any kind comes as a shock to people who have lived under tyranny and oppression for so long. It's natural for them to make mistakes, just like we did. And when the govt strays from the will of the people, the people need to speak up. Like they're doing now.

Will we be training the Muslim Brotherhood to fly those F16;s we just sold to Egypt??? Maybe the training is why the Muslim Brotherhood spends so much time at the White House.
Voters get what they ask for...our best days are behind us....

Seriously. Just how f**king ret@rded can you be?
Yes, the protest were what drove Mubarak out. Why? Because the military decided it was time to stop blocking protests and stood aside to let it happen. That doesn't mean they didn't block protests in the past

That's no excuse for habitually showing your azz. (unless you're into that sort of thing.)
But if you think the country will survive Obama pushing us to $20 trillion in debt without major negative consequences, you are naive. We hit the point of no return in the last election.

Since it's January now might be a good time to go on record to say where things are going...
Give your predictions for Egypt, Libya, Syria and Iran and we'll see how you do compared to where things really are in a year.
Any takers?
