Your POTUS is the reason why a good portion of my paycheck is going to the federal government. Your Dem Govrnor Deval is the reason why a good portion of my Paycheck is going to the state. Everything these punks say is a bunch of hot air and nothing more. They dont give a Crap about THE INDIVIDUAL PERSON all they care about is The supposed Bettering of people as a whole. And Your really gonna give me the Get a better education speel??? Lol Sorry to break it too you Matty but People with higher education arnt finding it much better either. I have a Friend Who Graduated From St.Anselm With a 3.8 GPA and a Degree in Criminal Justice. And for the Life of her she cant Find work. She has been out of college for almost 3 years now and looking everyday for anything she can get her hands on. She's even gone so far as to offer he services to people for free, Just to get the expierance. The problem isnt needing to get higher education. The problem is you have to know someone to get you a job. Its not who you know Matty Its Who you Bl0w.
Sorry to hear you're so jaded. Maybe you should do something about it instead of complaining.
Again, blaming POTUS or GOTC won't help you get ahead, unless you're a conservative commentator or radio host.
I agree they don't care about one person...mainly because they have an entire country/state to run. Don't be so conceited.
And sorry, but if you don't think that patronage happens in the private sector, too, than you're deluding yourself.
I worked for three years after high school and supported myself. When I went back to college, I had a double-major and still worked 30-35 hours per week, and STILL graduated with honors in four years. No help from mom or dad, but I did take out a few school loans, for which I have to thank the govt, if I'm being honest.
I didn't get a job right out of college, either. But I was resourceful, prudent and eventually found a career I could do well and that paid the bills. Now, I'm a married forty-something with a house, a yard, a few toys, etc. and I brew my own kick-azz beer. What else do I really need...?
My advice is to decide what's really important to you and go do it. If it's important enough, the opportunities will find you.
So its Complaining When i have a legitimate beef with the people that are running our government... ? Ok then..
You just dont get it when it Comes to individualism do you matty???
I never said patronage doesnt go On in the Private sector It goes on everywhere, thats the problem.
Dont thank the government for your loans Matty thank the people around you for your loans. What you think the government just pulled a wad of cash out of there a55for you to go to college???
The Working world isnt the same as when you where out of college matty. Sry to say but again People dont give a sh!t about what you know, Its who you know. Wait check that If your a good looking girl with a nice pair of t1ts you can get a job pretty easy too.And its Good to know you have some toys and Luxuries. You enjoying your Monthly payments?
And Honestly i dont know what important to me anymore. I used to know but since the country has gone to hell and a handbasket I dont know If what i want to do is gonna matter to people or if what i wanna do is gonna make a difference. Which is what people want right. To make a difference to leave thier mark on the world. Correct?
If I actually heard a "legitimate beef" from you, I might address it. But I see from you are the same tired, discredited talking points used by the rest of the obama-hating clowns around here. These tax policies didn't just pop-up overnight when you started collecting a paycheck, y'know.
And yes, you ARE blaming others for your own insouciance. It's pretty much the same behavior you accuse the "tax-sucking leeches" of. Weak. Where is your own "individualism" that informs how you live your life? Do you REALLY think your own life is so affected by current events? Really?!
If you don't know what's important to you, then how can you utter a single word about "individualism"...? At age 24, you should have SOME kind of clue by now. I don't mean to patronize, but you're not getting any younger.
And I admit, I once tried to argue, "it's different now", but eventually realized that a job is a job and work is work, no matter what your actual "profession" is. I had my first summer job (installing carpet) when I was 13, once held 4 part-time jobs simultaneously, worked my way through college and never collected a single unemployment check. And yet I still consider myself one of the lucky ones. Imagine that....
