I really don't care about the sex, although its probably relevant to the throne pecking order which interests the Brits..

They seem like good kids, so I wish them a successful delivery.

I believe the child whether boy or girl is third in line....

    Did not know that....till now.

Seems the Brits changed the rules.  Good for them.  First born daughters were always leapfrogged by younger male siblings in the past.

    MO,

That is true. They did change the rules.

    And it is a boy.

I'll only care if it's a Lizard Man and/or Batboy hybrid, in which case we better start considering listening to sheeple.

    Oh no. Anything but that.

What really only matters is a healthy baby. I heard earlier it was a boy. Yesterday, I was at a cookout and spent the afternoon..literally..surrounded by girls ranging in age from 8-18. It was quite an enlightening afternoon. Anyhow..they were all..especially the youngest..hoping for a new royal princess and I have to admit their feelings were infectious.

I feel like the royal birth of a male heir is sort of anti-climactic..lol..since there are already 2 males in line for the throne...although I am sure the parents feel otherwise. I am thrilled for them. The birth of a child is always such a precious blessing...

Irrelevant.  Charles is first, then William, THEN this baby.  Most unlikely any of us will be alive to see this kid get the throne.  Sorry to bum y'all out
