Hey, is he still wearing plaid shirts and strumming his guitar?  that's about the only think I remember about his forgettable presidential run.

Alexander is just another RINO, the media loves him, tells everyone how this is a Republican that they could vote for, and then don't.

I think sending a letter is too light of a treatment for him.  They should get a bus load of people to go protest him.  Unfortunately, they can't, because TEA party memebers tend to be productive members of society, therfore working, and not union and welfare layabouts that tend to unload from the bus when the Democrats protest somebody.

Productive? Most of the tee partee members I know of are grumpy, retired, collecting social security and on medicare sitting at dunkin donuts drinking coffee grumbling about Obama and taking up space for hours at a time.

    [/QUOTE]

I've invested in companies that produce obama phones. So, not only productive, but the gubmint is a customer.

.... and you said the gubmit doesn't add to the economy.

I guess you'll take a mulligan on that one.

It doesn't, at least it doesn't help our economy.  took at where obama phones are made (hint:not here). Additionally, if your argument is that it is the best way to spend your money, i beg to differ. spending your money the way you want is the better investment for the economy. It has a better force multiplier.  Dropping a bomb in Afghanistan has a better return than an Obamaphone.

You shouldn't be fooling around with your Obamaphone like that, it'll void the warranty.

Not to worry, you can get as many as you want for free.

And yes, airborne, it is all Reagan's fault, he gave alway free cellphones even before they existed.

Lifeline was begun not by President Obama but under Ronald Reagan. It expanded to include cellphone service during the presidency of another Republican, George W. Bush.

In Obama’s first term, amid evidence of widespread fraud, the Federal Communications Commission moved to crack down on the program, saving what it predicts will be $400 million this year, on top of $214 million in 2012.

Never mind all that. “Obama phone” has stuck.

So, Regean decided to give away cellphones beforethey existed, as CLC states? (wink)

Who cares who started it.  At best it is like every other good idea in Washington.  Someone tries to help somebody, before you know it, you have 10,000 unionized workers running a government agency dedicated to free cellphones or some other nonsense.

I read a poll on one of those reactionary fit wing sites.  I guess 67% of Alexander's constituency views him as leans left or liberal.

btw, what was the "code word"?

Apparently using a reference to a gross sexual practice in reference to conservatives is ok, however.
