Sheltering money overseas to avoid taxes is immoral for Republicans, but a qualification for Treasury Secretary for Obama cronies

Mitt Romney was nastily smeared with class warfare accusations that he or his business legally avoided taxes by shifitng money overseas....how evil !

    Evil when Republicans do it.

However, a huge corporation unethically tied to the Obama Administration,  Google Inc. (GOOG) avoided about $2 billion in worldwide income taxes in 2011 by shifting $9.8 billion in revenues into a Bermuda shell company, almost double the total from three years before, filings show.

Obama crony capitalists at Google and GE shift more money overseas to avoid taxes in a week than Mitt Romney could dream of in his lifetime.

By legally funneling profits from overseas subsidiaries into Bermuda, which doesn’t have a corporate income tax, Google cut its overall tax rate almost in half. The amount moved to Bermuda is equivalent to about 80 percent of Google’s total pretax profit in 2011.

Filthy rich Google CEO Eric Schmidt played in a key role in the re-election of President Barack Obama, helping to oversee Google's $700,000 bribe, er, donation, to the Obama campaign. Sorry, a measly 700K doesnt buy Ambassador to France, that is taken by the noted intellectual Anna Wintour.

Obama and  Schmidt have maintained a close relationship...Mr Schmidt, 57, was offered the job of Treasury or Commerce Secretary or a new "Secretary of Business" slot, according to the Washington Examiner.

The new position ought to be called "Secretary of Crony Capitalists"

After the screaming about Romney's tax returns, Google "liberal hypocrisy in tax shelters" and see if the Obama-poodle mainstream media gives a rat's behind about Google and GE's tax avoidance strategies...

The correct comparison is the tax avoidance history of Mitt Romney vs. President Obama.  When this Google CEO runs for president, he will get his due scrutiny.

Private citizens Mr. and Mrs. Romney and all their subsidiaries - aka The Corporation - are now free to hide and hide that they hide.

A majority of Americans - and perhaps many of the "3,000,000 fewer republicans" - didn't want a president who does it.

    1.  GE backed Romney

    2.  The 'green' light bulb laws were passed on Bush's watch.

Mr Schmidt defended the Google company's legitimate tax arrangements. “We pay lots of taxes; we pay them in the legally prescribed ways,” he told Bloomberg. “I am very proud of the structure that we set up. We did it based on the incentives that the governments offered us to operate.”

“It’s called capitalism,” he said. “We are proudly capitalistic. I’m not confused about this.”

Liberals arent confused either. Republicans like Romney are evil and immoral  and taking food out of children's mouth by taking legal tax avoidance strategies.

To hypocritical liberals, Obama crony capitalists in GE and Google are "proud capitalists".
