“And to anyone who says that church is no place to talk about these issues, you tell them there is no place better, no place better. Because ultimately, these are not just political issues; they are moral issues." - Michelle Obama, African Methodist Episcopal Church Conference

    Maybe just "some" churches?

But...but....separation of church and state.... Bible thumpers....ignorant deniers of science...who believe the earth is only 6,000 years old...

Oops, forgot...that rhetoric only applies to conservative believers!

For progressives, every year, God follows the Democratic platform and states it is immoral to spend $899 billion dollars on wasteful bureaucratic government social programs, you got to hell if you do........but if you increase the budget and spend $910 billion, you are moral and go to heaven!

Spending other people's money gets you to heaven? I want to be a liberal!

Well, I think one has to cut any church a wide degree of lattitude here.  Michelle is correct, however, it would be nice for it to extend to all churches and all political/moral persuasions.
