    Seriously?

Your 'argument' is a regurgitation of a whacko wingnut echo chamber opinion piece?

Your spending the past 4 years on your pet projects like green energy now need to be paid for.

    No thanks.

Re: The dems framework-- Tax NOW with REDUCTIONS in increased spending and reforms LATER!

How did the Bush tax cuts come to be?  A newly elected president, after losing the popular vote in the tightest race of our time, pushed through a party-line 50-50 vote with the VP casting the tie-breaker.  Doesn't that make any talk of Obama not having a mandate a bit ridiculous?

Forget about spending cuts - isn't the fact that the Dems are willing to keep the tax cuts for 98% of the population a compromise in itself?

Need spending cuts in entitlements plus taxes.

    Simple formula.

We know how these idiots operate.

Raise taxes and they will continue spending.

    Giving perks to their voters.

They're called "The Bush Tax Cuts".  Isn't it your rote response that is getting old?

The Bush tax cuts gave crumbs to the middle class and gave cake to those in the higher brackets. And those higher brackets have not taken their tax savings and pumped it back into the economy to create jobs or employ workers, so its time to put the rates back where they were.

That's what they're reduced to? Obama didn't win by enough? Spare me. They'd play their stupid dishonest games no matter how big a landslide.

You are spared but having 47% of the populas NOT vote for you is not a mandate.

Does he not care about he 47%???

How do you write this knowing that these tax cuts were pushed through by a 50-50 vote by a president who lost the popular vote?

Besides, 60% of the country supports letting the tax cuts expire for the top 2%.  That's a mandate.
