I'd probably come out double your IQ even if I was. Have another beer.

You are wicked smaht.  I could just kiss you.

But, for such a smaht guy, you say some pretty stupid things.  You must be living in an isolation chamber somewhere, arguing whith yourself.

The new US Attorney for Montana is cracking down on growers of medical  mariguana.

In a complete turnabout from not prosecuting medical pot growers, raids have been taking place without warning. Growers are being arrested and could face life in prison.

When I make the mistake of addressing certainmembers of the of the BDC conseravtive population here, such as you, I do feel that way. It's not enjoyable to attempt discussion with someone running on auto-pilot.

And of course, you have repeatedly admonished us not to take you seriously because you're really only here running your mouth in an attempt to get a reaction from libruls. So....what's your complaint?

    [/QUOTE]

You obviously take yourself way too seriously.

And, getting a reaction from liberals takes about as much effort as getting a reaction out of infants.  Libruls are all emotion, want to feel good about things, want to feel good about screaming at the bad conservative, want to celebrate their diversity at the expense of others.

And you have the nerve to accuse me of running on autopilot?  How dare you...

Look at the video. No "death images" skeeter. Listen to the lyrics. Lyrics are a poem paired with music.

And I daresay, more than a few posters here now have a "touch of gray" by now, to say the least. As for my esteemed male posters, maybe no hair to have grey in it by now perhaps. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

The other major GD image was that of Teddy Bears...not the skull and roses. Guess which one I preferred?

<Go into the world and do well. But more importantly, go into the world and do good.>

skeeter...I learned to listen to the lyrics of new songs long age. I even looked up the lyrics to read without the music playing. Some singers and groups and their songs I might have dismissed outright were not. I stopped sterotping I hope for good. I am a musician first. You want some of what I studied to perform, you got it, You will get opera and symphonies, etc. as well as classic jazz. [ps permormances usually had to wear a white blouse and long black skirt, except for the jazz :)]

I would have missed out on SO much if I had not done this. Even listen to some country singers and songs.

That sound like your sterotyped idea of a liberal Democrat?

Some folks trust to reason, others trust to might
I don't trust to nothing, but I know it come out right
Say it once again now, whoa I hope you'll understand
When it's done and over, Lord, a man is just a man

    [Chorus:]
    Playing, playing in the band
    Daybreak, daybreak on the land

Some folks look for answers, others look for fights
Some folks up in tree tops, just to look to see the sights
    (just looking for their kites)
I can tell your future, whoa just look what's in your hand
I can't stop for nothing, I'm just playing in the band

    [Chorus]

Standing on a tower, world at my command
You just keep a-turning, while I'm playing in the band
If a man among you, got no sin upon his hand
Let him cast a stone at me for playing in the band

Playing, like a wave upon the sand

Skeeter, These are some of the lyris from Sister's post of "Playin' in the Band". It is, in short, a larger metaphor for life and living in general. "If a man among you, got no sin upon his hand Let him cast a stone at me for playing in the band"  We are ALL just playing in the band, skeeter.

    Sister,

    Thanks yet again.

    Uploaded on Feb 25, 2011

Good Lovin' by the Grateful Dead. It's from their 1978 album, Shakedown Street.

Nobody ever had to tell Mickey more cowbell.

    Great version.
