    Vacation

Can't the President be allowed to take a vacation and still do parts of his job? Dick Cheney makes a ridiculous statement when GW was off most of the time while he was in office. Any shot the Republicans can make at a Democratic President, it shoots. Sad.

Hi Danny! Welcome to politics!!!! (You didn"t bring Bill..did you?)

Cheney is really one to talk. I have a few complaints about Obama..but his taking a vacation isn't one of them. Everyone knows being President is a 24/7 job.

Again - Dick Cheney.  Let's deal with ISIS the way Dick Cheney would.  Surely, that will turn out great.

Obama's foreign policy is a disaster because Assad is fighting ISIS.  If not for Cheney, Assad would be fighting ISIS (if it existed) would be fighting Saddam Hussein.  Instead we're in the middle of it all forced to Listen to Dick Cheney because Fox News will give him a voice and he's not allowed to leave the country.

Thanks, but no thanks - I'll stick with Obama.

"The image problem isn’t from leisure activity per se but the type of leisure activity. A majority of Americans now believes that Obama doesn’t understand their problems, and images of him playing golf — perceived, fairly or not, as a rich man’s game — confirms this out-of-touch reputation.
This is similar to the problem that dogged Mitt Romney, and now Hillary Clinton. The Post’s Philip Rucker this week noted that influential Democrats are concerned that her “rarefied, cloistered lifestyle could jeopardize the Democratic Party’s historic edge with the middle class.” Images of Obama lining up his putt undermine his attempts to play the populist, which he has done this year on unemployment insurance, the minimum wage and income-inequality."

What's really funny about this comment is that if Obama could run for a third term...he'd probably win. Why? Because in spite of his low approval rating...Congress' is even lower..and the GOP has no viable candidate on a national level. Unless they radically change their game plan and stop trying to appeal to the lowest common denominator..the Corner office is going to be blue for a long time to come.

Actually a recent poll showed even Romney would beat Obama if the election were held now...and as to "No viable candidate", maybe from Moonbatachusetts, or on MSNBC, all Republicans look permanently unelectable...but the Republicans have a very deep bench of potential candidates....midWest Governors such as Walker and Kasich and Pence, a libertarian eye doctor Senator, NJ Governor, an Hispanic Senator, etc. and a successful Texas Governor under phony indictment.

Heh, heh, heh ... but I guess it's okay for the wingnuts to compare the Ferguson protestors to ISIL ... and he did it on one of your favorite echo-chamber sites ... so it must be true.

Another example of wingnut double standards ... pathetic.

Conservative commentator and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza compared the reaction following the death of an unarmed black teenager in Ferguson, Mo., at the hands of a police officers to actions being committed by ISIS militants.

“The common thread between ISIS and what’s going in Ferguson is you have these people who basically believe that to correct a perceived injustice, it’s perfectly okay to inflict all types of new injustices,” D’Souza said on NewsMaxTV’s Steve Malzberg Show. “Behead guys who had nothing to do with it. Go and loot shops from business owners who were not part of the original problem whatsoever. And all of this is then licensed by the left and licensed to some degree by the media.”

Amazing.  Republicans create a mess, and then complain about how the democrats clean it up.

so, is the world better or worse off with Saddam in a grave?

invading Iraq will go down as the biggest foreign policy blunder ever by any country.  And the only thing dumber than invading Iraq was disbanding its military, who pretty much make up ISIS.

Romney's been out of the public eye for a while.  Put him back in the spotlight and people will remember why they chose Obama.

Your "deep bench" is awful, and those with name recognition are facing corruption charges.  You can't avoid a primary fight that makes all viable candidates look ridiculous to independents and inhuman to Dems.  There's no way to reconcile the changing electorate with your racist base, and your strongest demographic is aging off the earth.  This is why Republican tactics have centered around suppressing voter turnout, injecting more money into the process, and re-districting to undermine democracy as much as possible.  It's an un-winnable strategy.

There's no future for you.  You might as well just get out of the way and let progressives do what they want.

"Suppressing voter turnout", in moonbat-speak means preventing the dead from voting Democrat more than three times in one election....

The Party of no future is about to take over control of both branches of Congress....2016 then awaits..

And, the public in its wisdom rarely wants to give one Party control of the White House for more than 2 terms...

That's not the case any more.  Republicans may do well in 2014 because voting is one of the few things their base is physically capable of doing - between Matlock re-runs and waiting for the green jello to arrive.  I would not be surprised if Republicans win a slight edge in the Senate.

It would actually be a good thing for Republicans to win a slight majority, because they would 'go nuclear' on day one, which would remove the god-awful modern incarnation of the filibuster from US politics forever.  And in 2016, with the entire country voting and 22 Republican Senate seats up for grabs (many only red due to the tea party farce of 2010), the Republican Party will be swept into long-overdue irrelevance.

When one of your idols - that Walker fellow - get voter ID pushed through, an interesting thing happened: places where you could get ID had their hours expanded in Republican-heavy areas, while such places were either closed or had their hours curtailed in Democrat-heavy areas.

This was widely reported in the media. But then, probably not in the red propoganda sites you like.

Now, I suppose that could hinder Democrats from voting, and this would include dead Democrats. But it is rather ham-fisted, isn't it?

Anyway, the complaints about voter fraud have been debunked a million times over. Which is probably why you believe it all the more strongly.

Bush's DOJ spent 4 years searching for Democrat vote fraud. They found 80ish technically incorrect ballots. WOW!
