My thoughts are with you Enchi & family too.    This story is being played out all over America......  The "BIG O" loves to blame Bush, however it is "clear to me" that the marathon man from Kenya is hell-bent on destroying the USA.......  His latest remark "vote for revenge" is just another indication that the CIC wants to divide America to the fullest. If he gets another 4 years he will do just that !!!!   If nothing else, it is going to be a wild 3 days coming !!!!
Hey, idiot, care to explain how President Obama is from Kenya?  Oops, I forgot you are a complete moron and devoid of knowledge on every subject.

But I could use a laugh, so have a go and explain the President's nationality.
Oh great wise one,   Since the rest of his family is from there, perhaps one would conclude that sonnyboy started out there too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No, only an idiot would assume that a man with a Kenyan father and and an American mother whose Hawaiian birth was announced in two Hawaiian newspapers was born in Kenya.  Surely even you aren't stupid enough to believer in the Birther theory....are you?

The argument of right versus left is as old as politics itself.  This country is pretty evenly split on this.  One thing that is very obvious is that our country is steadily declining in many , if not most , areas.  If you don't see this , you are not very objective and observant.  The question is : What can we do to reverse this before it becomes too late ?  We keep hearing that this is the most important election of our lifetimes.  It seems to me that we hear this every election.  Will the result of this election really make the difference ?  It will certainly make a difference to the politicians who will benefit , but will it really make a difference in the quality of life for us , and the future success of our nation ?   We really need to take stock of all the mistakes that have been made , and continue to be made. There is no reason that we should have to continue our downward slide.  Whoever you support in this election , think about what is wrong here , and where we have gone astray , and what we need to do to get back on track.

I just love bringing politics to a baseball chat room...ridiculous! Leave it to Bill to start this as we all know he has an axe to grind against the current President.

In any event, and although I hate getting into political debates, I only have one thing to say to those voting for Romney...BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR!

The first thing that should alarm people is that Romney will not win Massachusetts, the state he governed for 4 years! It got so bad for him that at the end of his term he did not run for re-election because of the crappy job he did.

Common belief is that Romney just wants to win the election, and then nothing happens thereafter. All the promises you are hearing now, will be feathers in the wind when he is elected.

I am not an advocate of Obama, but I live in Massachusetts and remember that he did nothing but introduce Romneycare to the state, that just so happens to be similar to Obamacare..,one of the things Romney plans to abolish...that's FLIP Romney for ya.

Obama care is not the same as Romney care. Obama care is nation wide, where are people going to move if they don't want or like it? Romney advocates for state run health-care and for buying insurance across state lines. There was nothing wrong with our helth-care system, not a damn thing. Obama wanted universal health-care because that's what democrats want. they don't care that the quality of care will suffer tremendously, and that it hasn't worked anywhere else. Adding millions of more people to the health care rolls, without increasing the number of doctors is irresponsible.

Go ahead and vote for the biggest liar and fraud this country has ever seen in the White House. He has done nothing but divide this country.

    Re:

people divide this country not politicians.  It's a gov't of the people by the people for the people.  They are people who fight for their jobs just like me and you.  Their policy's is  driven by conversation and WE the people drive that conversation, and we get what we deserve every time.

A perfect example of this would be the issue of medicare, which realistically we need to cut if we really seriously want to cut the deficit (either that or drastically increase taxes or cut the military in half)

If you chose to not watch MSNBC and FOx news and actually read into what both candidates want to do with medicare, you see it is basically the SAME and they both cut it, yet they both accuse the other guy of wanting to cut it....confusing I know.  Yet we all chose to listen and believe the narrative we want to (because we cheer for politicians as if they were our sports team)  In the end when one guy tries to reform medicare he will get nothing but opposition even if his plan was identical to what the other guy would try to pass (and then the other side would oppose it)

Yes there are VERY CLEAR distinctions between these two men, but we used to actually talk with one another and get stuff done in this country and we don't do that anymore.  Politicians campaign negatively and we say we are SICK of it, but they do it because they have studies that says it works.....it works because we let it work.

Policy is driven by conversation......and that is a battle we are all losing.

You will NOT get this country back in a day, The progressives will NOT go away if Romney wins, just like the conservatives will not go away if Obama wins again.  In the end we will have to sit at the same table and agree on something otherwise we will all go down with the ship.

If you don't agree with this then you are so one sided and warped that you ARE part of the problem. IMHO

Ron Paul has some good ideas but none of them can realistically be done. Eliminating the FED and going back to the gold standard will never happen. Paul is more a Libertarian and an isolationalist. His views are too extreme for the mainstream of the country. There has to be some government oversight just not so much to strangle free enterprise or infringe on people's liberty. The rule of law is what governs men, not the beaurocrats in DC.
