Didn't Cheney shoot someone by accident while hunting with his friends?

Next time, Cheney should shoot Scott Boras.  (j/k)  LOL

I wonder if Nate Silver is interested in Sabermetrics.  I believe he predicted the results of every state correctly.  Perhaps the Red Sox can hire him as a consultant.

Nate Silver is a statistican who cut his teeth at Baseball Prospectusbefore entering the political arena:

Thanks for the link, Hill.  I guess ol' Nate's already been there and done some of that.

And I guess I put Decartes in front of Dehorse.

    Or something to that effect.

Next time Nate delves into sabermetrics he should wear dental dams so he doesn't cut his teeth.

Obama won and I will live with that.... no choice. Electoral College must go... I do not want to hear that so-and-so cannot win if they don't carry WI, OH, or CA. You never hear "if they carry Rhode Island or Maine or Arizona;" a few States do decide the vote and that is plain WRONG.

Chilli, sorry then. I was lashing out at a percieved stereo-type comment. Romney, Obama = all the same to me. Real Change ain't happening this round.

I am so happy the elections are over.   I am a bit burned out campaigning for my choice mosty via emails. In fact, from my distribution list I requested no more political emails either from Obama followers gloating or Romney followers lamenting.  The politcal process that so many of our Veterans have given their lives to preserve has selected a winner. Whether I agree or disagree with the choice, we are all Americans.   This for those not happy with the outcome is not like a Red Sox, Celtic, Pats loss etc..  It is something we need live with for 4 more years, at least.   Hopefully , we do not continue down the socialistic path where Government feels that by printing more money and increasing the deficit we can reduce unemployment & improve the economy.  Hopefully, too the administration realizes this path can lead to the economic mess now in Western Europe.  I will be happy if some tax incentives perhaps are giving to businesses to expand, thrive & increase employment.  Tax revenues should increase both from the increased profits from the businesses and the increase in people working.  In short, less involvement by government so that a Free Market Capitalism is the best path to prosperity  as per Larry Kudlow's belief comes to fruition.

You mean Romney, like W, wasn't going to be Santa Claus for the "Really don't need more" rich? Given the concentration of wealth issues in this country that's been getting worse over the last quarter century, however, there's much less of those.

of course, based on the above, that makes all of us who voted, suckers.

For the first time, I actually used a write-in vote and voted for Ron Paul.  Both candidates were weak, as they have been since Clinton.

I've been watching the exit poll results on CNN and was jumps out the most is the fact that the urban vote was heavily for Obama and the rural vote was heavily for Romney. Suburban voting was split 50-50. My guess is that the Southern states are basically rural and a good share of the blacks voted Republican or didn't vote.

Blacks voted 93% for Obama.  Given that they are 13% of the population, that gives the democrats about an 11% lead before the voting even starts.

Holy moly we agree again!!!! Righto!

Of course Bill 806 has such feeble political ideas he would not be comfortable in a real political discussion forum but that said, no need to leave heaps o' dung in here either. Let's keep it clean TBallers! Bill I hope you enjoyed all the lessons in presidential politics and the changing demographics in our country you surely have gotten since you started this thread.
